Pros:

Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich durfte mein Gepäck schon vor dem offiziellen Check in abgeben und es war gut aufgehoben.

En el corazón de Amsterdam
Pros:

Ubicación excelente. Personal super amable. Camas y ropa de cama limpias.

Cons:

No hay ventiladores, es necesario dormir con la ventana abierta. Avenida principal muy ruidosa, es difícil dormir a causa del ruido. Imagino que es el precio a pagar por la buena ubicación.

Great price, great location, bit mid other than that but what do you expect.
Pros:

For the price, it was really decent. It’s so central that the location can’t really be beaten, that’s why I chose the hotel in the first place.

Obviously there’s problems with the hotel, it’s old fashioned, a bit dirty etc. The stairs are really steep too but for someone without mobility issues it’s absolutely fine. However, it doesn’t smell, and the bed & sheets/towels were all clean so it was fine.

The owner Mario, and the staff were all really friendly, which makes a big difference.

Overall, as long as you go in with the right expectations it’ll be fine. Don’t let pretentious snobs in the other reviews put you off.

Excelente ubicación y personal muy amable
Pros:

La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de la estación de tren, de la plaza Dam, de un súper. El personal muy amable. Les pedimos una pava para calentar el agua y cubiertos, y nos proporcionaron todo. El señor Mario muy atento a todo.

Cons:

Las paredes son muy finas y, cuando los huéspedes no se comportan, se escucha todo. La primer noche no pudimos dormir porque un grupo de españoles ( Cayetano, Aytana, Churruca, y otros más) estaban de fiesta y el sarao se sentía en nuestra habitación.
