Die Lage, ruhig und für Nordlichter gut.

Cons:

Leider hat uns das Hotel nicht, wie angekündigt über Nordlichter informiert, die an diesem Abend wirklich spektakulär waren. Wir haben aber zum Glück selbst über eine App die Infos bekommen.
Sauna mussten wir selbst einschalten. Pool wurde immer schmutziger, da sich keiner um Abdeckung und Reinigung kümmerte. Insgesamt unmotiviertes Personal. Frühstück sehr minimalistisch, auf unserer Rundreise das schlechteste, auch Abendessen eher einfach.

Pros:

The cabins were beautiful. Lovely location. Nice dinner. Super comfortable beds and great shower with finally a heated towel rail to dry wet swimming costumes!!!

Cons:

Unfortunately the sauna was broken which is a shame and the hot tub was not very hot which was uncomfortable given the outside -10deg

The hotel is really good, it is 5 minutes outside Borgarnes. The position is perfect to see the Northern Lights as it is outside town. We stayed in a cabin which was very spacious and cosy. Furniture was pretty new and the entire cabin was clean and well equipped. Special mention to the bathroom and shower, big and with perfect pressure. We had breakfast included and we absolutely recommend it; it had several sweet and savoury options and it was tasty. We also tried the hotel restaurant for a dinner; everything was delicious, although a bit pricy (but proportioned to Iceland prices). There was a hot-tub right outside our cabin, very nice!

Pros:

We actually ended up in this property because we had to leave the previous one night earlier cause it was not habitable at all.
We LOVED this one. The cabin was great. Very clean, very warm. The bathroom are exceptionally clean and very well designed. We loved everything about this property. The breakfast was great with more options that we had in other properties. The property is close to the city and at the same time is far enough to be very quiet and peaceful. Once again we loved everything.
