Дом очень старый. Комнаты не соответствуют тому,что написано в объявлении. Бронировали комнату 20 кв.м. , в итоге комната оказалась 12 кв.м.. Общая ванная комната и общий туалет ( старый и грязный).
Kdo hledá retro ve stylu filmu Sněženky a machři, bude nadšený. Lokalita výborná, hned vedle běžecké stopy. Personál milý a vstřícný.
Częste prysznice, namiot tipi, boisko do gry w piłkę, nietuzinkowa lokalizacja, standard schroniska górskiego.
Výrazný nepoměr ceny a kvality ubytování.
Lokalita uzasna.
Nic jsem nenasla, co bych vytkla. Znala jsem chatu jiz drive.
Amazing place and super friendly stuff there :)
I love the location, the staff is extremely nice, the building is old but cozy and clean.
There is not much, maybe just that you can hear very easily noise from the rooms and hall as the walls are very thin but it was calm during the night though.
And to put some holder to the shower bath where you can hang the shower head so you don't need to hold it in the hands all the time would be nice
* The location is extraordinary, located near the top of the mountain, surrounded by the forests of the Krkonoše mountains. Very quiet and peaceful. When my dogs and I walked the nearby trails we saw very few people. * A few lovely lookout points within easy walking distance. * I stayed in a room with shared hallway bathroom: one for men and one for women. There were not very many guests when I was there so this was not an issue. * The couple who owns the property are extremely kind and helpful. Though I speak basic Czech and can manage my affairs, the owners speak excellent English. * Breakfast was typical Czech buffet: fresh bread, homemade pernik (Czech cake similar to gingerbread), cheese, sliced meats, scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, dry cereal, juice, coffee, tea. The restaurant caters to various diet requirements as well. In the evening there were two vegetarian options. Tasty food, reasonably priced: Breakfast was 170 CZK and dinner was 190 CZK. The bar has a wide range of beverages: homemade lemonades, coffees, teas, local beers, and alcoholic offerings. * Since the building was constructed in the 1920s, it has wood floors, wood stairs, and real wood paneling in the hallways that do show signs of wear after so many years. I came to see that as part of it's charm and history. The dining room and bar area have old hardwood floors and wooden beamed ceilings, with high ceilings. There is a huge wall mural of the local area in the dining room. Outside a nice seating area with a number of picnic tables offers a place to enjoy drinks and food, surrounded by the woods. * Wooden sculptures inside the building and a larger one outside. * For families with children, there is a play room, children's corner in the dining room; and outside, an in-ground trampoline, fire pit, tree swing, volleyball/football court with sand. * Staying there is a bit like going back in time. Absolutely charming. I plan to return.
* The carpet in my room was similar to outdoor carpeting for a deck, but if you are wearing slippers or socks, this is of no concern. * The entry lobby is dark as there is little natural sunlight, not sure about lighting. * It would be nice to have a regular size bath towel; only a hand towel was available. However, I always take a towel when I stay at small pensions.
Very authentic lodge upon a hill in the middle of the woods. Building is made out of wood which comes with a certain feeling and atmosphere you will like, although you shouldn't expect too much luxury. :)
Best part might be the food. We ate multiple traditional Chechen style dishes, all homemade by the chef of course. While we were staying you could opt in for dinner and breakfast every day. The breakfast was big and rich, while for dinner everyone could pick between 2 or 3 daily dishes, a starter and/or a dessert.
The guy working on the floor was very helpful and friendly, and main point of contact.
The watchtower close by is dope too. Ah and if you go there and breathe in deeply you can feel your lungs getting cleansed by the air up on that hill. Highly recommended.
The building is a bit old, and the lodge experience is real. If you're used to the luxury and privacy of hotels you might have to get used to this. Seems like most of the people staying are families with (small) children, and you might hear them.
