Decent place for short stay, but I would look elsewhere if I visit Guangzhou next time.
Pros:

- Location, near lots of places to eat and shopping malls. About 10 mins walk to the subway.
- Two types of pillows to choose from, firm or soft, mattress is just nice, firm and supportive.
- The room was spacious and well stocked with amenities.
- The 2 female receptionists who checked us in were friendly and courteous
- Self service laundromat with 2 industrial sized washing machines and dryers on the 5th floor. They come with detergent as well.

Cons:

- Breakfast is very basic and their coffee and tea are super watered down. We would get our caffeine fix from Manner Coffee, which is about 2 mins walk from the hotel, to go with the breakfast. The 6 days we were there, we were always greeted by the same sour-faced waitress and waiter, who seemed rather impatient.
- Cleaners do a decent job at tidying up the rooms and changing towels but they don’t check whether the toilet rolls or toiletries need replenishing. We had to request.
- Toilet and shower enclosure are not 100% private as they are enclosed with tinted glass, and ventilation in those enclosures are not the best.

Spacious room with smoke stench.
Pros:

The front desk staffs are mostly friendly and helpful except for this one guy who does the night shift.

Cons:

The rooms which they claimed are non-smoking rooms had a bad stench of cigarette smoke smell lingering. The rooms with windows also just faced the other building which had nothing. So I feel that paying for the room with a window meant nothing at all.

Super Comfy Room, Generous Amenities, Convenient Laundry facilities in a great Location.
Pros:

The location was one of the best parts of my stay here. I was offered an upgraded room, which was really, really nice. The minibar was refilled daily and generously with water, coke and ice tea! Yay!. Food I ordered was delivered straight to my door by a bot, which was quite fun. The housekeeping ladies were respectful of my space, kept my robes clean, and restocked my amenities. The laundry facility on the premises was the icing on the cake and probably the very best part of my long stay. I absolutely loved the railfall of a shower I had! Simply divine!

Cons:

It was really difficult to have only 1 staff member who could understand English. I fell ill, and the front desk couldn’t understand me well enough to direct me to the nearest hospital. The breakfast was a big disappointment. The options were very limited, bread and cereal were stale, and service was promptly cleared before the dot, with no flexibility of even 5 minutes. Needless to say, I only attempted breakfast twice over the 14 days I was there. The TV only had local channels; it would have been nice to be able to watch something other than the 1 news channel.

Pros:

Vorauszahlung in Euro möglich! Gute Verkehrsanbindung, ohne starken Verkehr direkt vor der Tür. Das Zimmer ist ruhig, geruchsfrei und die dunkle Gestaltung ist ideal zum Schlafen.

Cons:

Das Fenster lässt sich etwas schwer öffnen. Die Anleitung für den Waschraum stimmt nicht, man kann die Maschinen einfach direkt benutzen. Außerdem gibt es nur wenige Waschmaschinen.
