Pleasant friendly hotel near town centre
Pros:

Really enjoyed my overnight stay . Nice to eat on the premises .
Pros:

Stayed there many times before Covid , when it changed hands was apprehensive about booking again but no regrets at all . Evening meal and breakfast was very good . Staff very helpful and friendly . Premises very clean and good to see being refurbished .

Cons:

All bedrooms upstairs .

Pros:

The room was a little tired, some paintwork needed attention just to smarten things up. However the room was comfortable and we slept well. Shower was good and powerful. Glasses in the bathroom rather than plastic cups would be nicer touch. The hotel provided tea, coffee, water and biscuits which was a nice touch. Changing the TV to a smart TV would be a great addition. We had the full cooked breakfast both days, it was very good. We also ate in the hotel both nights of our stay, the food was great, big portions and tasty. I would recommend the Cullen Skink - it was the best I've ever tasted! Owner and staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Just a little more TLC in the room.

Hotel de paso para visitar la ciudad.
Pros:

Las habitaciones son amplias y la cama es más grande de lo que hemos visto en otros hoteles parecidos. Tiene aparcamiento propio.

Cons:

Las habitaciones no están bien insonorizadas, se oyen a los vecinos y el pub de abajo. Además, son de un estilo anticuado. Aunque está relativamente del centro el hotel se encuentra en un lugar apartado de la ciudad.

Pros:

A 15 minute walk from the railway station. Functional accommodation over a pub but very reasonably priced. Breakfast average but discounted if you paid the night before.

A very good budget place to stay, we will return
Pros:

Lovely and clean with friendly and accommodating staff. We had a lovely meal in the evening, very tasty and well presented. Clean bedding and towels, lashings of hot water. Good facilities in the rooms so overall very good. Our dog was welcomed and accommodated which was fantastic. The main member of staff that was spoke to was such a lovely young man, very knowledgable and friendly

Cons:

It was a little tired looking in places but was clean and tidy. Very good value and with the way hospitality is being hit at the moment there’s not the extra money to redecorate
