La Luna

Myself and a group of friends stayed in La Luna accomodation this summer and we cannot stop singing its praises. The owners were so kind and accomodating of everything and even drove us to and from the port. The accomodation itself was beautiful and in the perfect location. The staff were so kind and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels offered. The balcony’s overlooked the city and had such an incredible view. Overall I would definitely recommend this accomodation!

Location: top, right across the chora, 
Supermarkets at 1 and another at 5 minutes distance.Municipal, free parking close by (2 choices). The village is abot 5 minutes on foot.
Our room (double) was on the upper floor, with a huge terrace. 
Steps (two)were steep from room to terrace, but the view is gorgeous - windmill, churches and the cute houses as well as from afar the sea.
You share the terrace with the next-door room but there's a partition (can be noisy when your neighbors show no respect and play loud music - not hotel's fault).
Room was spacious enough. Bed was narrow for two, but there was another bed.
Wifi good 
Complimary shower gel.
Daily cleaning and towel change.
There's a common kitchen, with fridge, cooker, pots and pans, very practical if you want to prepare own meals.
And then there are the lovely owners, Andreas and Betty and their sweet doggy Bijeu. They really shiwed interest for their guests' comfort. 
 After we checked-out, we could store our things and even use an empry room to shower when we returned from the beach. 
Woud definitely stay there again and definitely recommend this place, it's the kind of place that makes your holiday special.

Μόλις επιστρέψαμε από 5 υπέροχες μέρες στην Ίο και θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε το La Luna για τη φιλοξενία! Ήμασταν 4 φίλοι και περάσαμε πραγματικά τέλεια. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ άνετο, καθαρό και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, ενώ μας άρεσε ιδιαίτερα η μικρή πισίνα έξω από το δωμάτιό μας με τις ξαπλώστρες, όπου χαλαρώναμε καθημερινά.

Όλο το προσωπικό ήταν εξαιρετικά ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να μας βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε. Ξεχωριστή αναφορά αξίζει στην κυρία Μαργαρίτα, την καθαρίστρια του καταλύματος, η οποία κάθε μέρα μας μιλούσε με χαμόγελο και ευγένεια και μας πρότεινε όμορφα μέρη και παραλίες να επισκεφτούμε στο νησί.

Σας ευχαριστούμε για την υπέροχη φιλοξενία και σίγουρα θα σας προτιμήσουμε ξανά όταν επιστρέψουμε στην Ίο!

DEFINITELY STAY HERE!!! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Chora; the staff were so amazing and welcoming - such lovely people.
