Markos Village Pension

Everything. Free pick up from the ferry, spotless room, balcony, pool, good strong shower, toiletries, a/c, and the owner was very available for any problems. I asked for a anti mosquito device and he sent it to my room in a few minutes.

The owners were nothing but friendly and helpful. They would always help us and even brought us up and down to the port for the ferry.

We loved how friendly and helpful all the staff were. We really appreciated them picking us up from and dropping us off at the port. We felt very safe that there was always someone at the reception area all the time. Ideal location for being close to the main town and for nightlife. Also lovely pool area for sunbathing and great freddo cappuccinos!!

The best place to stay in Ios! Such a good location and the staff are so friendly with someone available to help 24/7! The pool is a bonus and the food and drinks are affordable and tasty. I would recommend to anyone!

Perfect spot for young travellers. Really reasonable price as well. Close to plenty of bars and shops which is convenient. George and his family were amazing and I can’t say enough about them. Would definitely return if I ever came back to Ios. Recommend going up to St. Nikolaos for sunset (10 min walk)

We just finished a week in IOS staying at Markos Village and it was great! The owner of the hotel, George, picked us up upon arrival and gave us a tour of the local area (shops, bars, clubs, restaurants etc.), which made settling into the new environment very easy. If you are looking to visit Ios Markos Village is the best place to stay not only in its proximity to both the nightlife IOS offers but also the two beach fronts and restaurants that are only a short walk away. The hotel itself was clean very well kept and offered great snacks and drinks (of your choice) at the bar by the pool. The atmosphere of the venue is very accommodating to those looking to indulge in the nightlife IOS has to offer but also caters for those prioritising the more relaxed picturesque aesthetic that this beautiful island is also renown for. The highlight of the trip however comes down to the family run business who take pride in ensuring you are having the best time possible! and for that I am sure we will be back again in the future. Μείναμε σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο στο κέντρο της Ίου και μείναμε απόλυτα ικανοποιημένοι!
Η τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετική – πολύ βολική για να εξερευνήσεις τη Χώρα, με μαγαζιά, εστιατόρια και στάσεις κοντά.
Η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άψογη: το προσωπικό ευγενικό, πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει με ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε και πάντα με χαμόγελο.
Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό, άνετο και είχε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν για μια ευχάριστη διαμονή.
Γενικά μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι και σίγουρα θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά στο μέλλον. Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

The people that worked there are very nice and so welcoming

Cant recommend enough. Staff brought us to and from the ferry. They were so friendly and accommodating the entire trip. We were a group of 10 girls, all 18/19 years old and felt so safe. Less then a 5 min walk from the nightlife and the night guard being there all night made us feel so safe and we could leave our keys with him when we went out for the night and he was so friendly. They had €2 shots, €6 cocktails, €7 pizzas, chips, toasties etc down in reception. The food and drinks were so good. Every night there was a great atmosphere and they let us pre drink downstairs. We even had a medical emergency during our trip not in the accommodation but George called an ambulance for us and translated from Greek to English for us so we could communicate with the doctors. The rooms were such good value. They were standard but had all we needed, comfy beds, a fridge, air conditioning, shower, hair dryer etc. Will 100% stay here again our trip would not have been the same without them.
