The property offered fantastic views, with dreams of what the past looked like in typical tea plantation area, with extremely steep slopes.

Cons:

Nothing for sure but bathroom could be updated,

Exceptional
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Goatfell, 2 nights. The food and drinks were wonderful, and the room was comfort plus. The property is very quiet and peaceful. It was lovely to do the walk from the property thru the tea plantations.

Cons:

The visit to the tea factory was a bit disappointing. The factory tour was okay but the tea tasting was one cup of tea with no explanation as to what it was. We thought a tea tasting was to taste the different types of the teas they produce, so you could choose what tea you liked most and then buy.
The swimming pool was very cold, it was not heated at all and being in a colder climate, we could not enjoy relaxing with a swim.

Secluded and tranquil retreat near Nuwara Eliya
Pros:

Wonderfully well-equipped, excellent service by attentive and friendly staff, a great place to relax in a cosy and tranquil environment.

Cons:

The location (30-45 mins from Nuwara Eliya up a long and narrow track) means this is most suitable for 2 nights or more, rather than easy access for Nuwara Eliya sightseeing.
