Location, staff, room and breakfast great. Storage and soundproofing not so good.
Pros:

Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Central location, very close to Maidstone East train station and high street. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very good breakfast - good value too.

Cons:

Spacious room but, apart from a small hanging rail, there was nowhere to store clothes. Could easily fit a small chest of drawers in below the TV.
No soundproofing so could hear guests in neighbouring rooms.

A lovely stay
Pros:

Very large room with large ensuite

The pillows were hard and only half the rainbow shower was working. A little tired

Noisy at night, staff not really interested.
Pros:

The bed was comfy and room clean. Shower was nice.

Cons:

Entered the property and was totally ignored by staff, people busy but no eye contact. Checked in, asked the gentleman if he could put some tap water in my room, when i came back after being out, he clearly didnt remember. The bedside tables were all sticky and the noise outside all night kept me awake in spades. I was too tired to go for breakfast, I wont be returning
Would prefer a proper lock on the door

Lovely big rooms, great breakfast, great value

Cons:

Reception Staff not rude but not bothered. Took a while to get someone to check us in and out. Waiter at breakfast was lovely though

A pleasant place to stay when there are no roadworks.
Pros:

Very pleasant and spacious room. Convenient location in theory.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there were noisy roadworks (involving drilling and vibrations) nearby that disturbed me during the night. This was not the hotel's fault, but it is worth noting that anti-social roadworks could be an ongoing issue in Maidstone.
