Rooms were outdated but very clean. Friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant
Key safe was in the bar area, we had to left early the next morning so had to leave key with the chef. Night phone where not working outside our room
Location
Second stay, as soon as you walk to the room there is strong smell of bleach. Radiators not turned on, find out in the middle of night as was cold.

The breakfast was exceptional. The room was lovely and the location of the hotel was great as we could wake to Maidstone East railway station to catch the train to London and do some sightseeing.
When we had an evening meal, the lighting was too dim. Even the waitress commented that she couldn't see my wife!

It was a good location for visiting family in the area. The room was good, breakfast was OK. Dinner was great.
Only issue, no lift especially for heavy luggage.
