Good location
No air con. Double booked so man kept ringing me
The room was very spacious which ensured we felt comfortable during our stay. The 2 fans in thr room were a great additiom during the heatwave wjen we stayed.
No negatives really enjoyed our stay.
No breakfast.
No air-conditioning
Every thing lovely staff lovely food lovely outdoor seating
Didn't like that there was no air-conditioning in bedrooms even though I requested a room with air-conditioning
The food in the restaurant was great, staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable.
Convenient location, good food
Lack of air conditioning in rooms. Generally rooms etc need some tlc e.g. carpets worn, paint work needs refreshing
The hotel was very nicely done albeit dated in some areas however I thought that added the the charm of the building. The location is dreadful in terms of traffic from the M20 it is literally not much more than 1.7miles however it too 40 mins to get in and 25 to get out. The rooms were very good and we had air conditioning which made for a restful nights sleep.
The shower cubicle was a little strange in room 10 as it had no door and the shower head was in the opening so the floor quickly became very wet which possibly needs addressing.
We also ate the restaurant and as expected that was excellent.
The location
The location. Very convenient for town and the train station.
Excellent cocktails from the bar.
Very good, informative, check in.
Tables in the garden only for eating in the evening. We were also told (by a very young waiter, possibly new?)that drinks could not be ordered without food. After purchasing our drinks from the bar we saw other tables being served with only drinks.
The coffee and tea selection in the rooms had not been refilled after the previous guests.
Elevated price for a very basic service. This B&B was very good value for money years ago but has sadly gone downhill. Also needs a good lick of paint on the facade.
Location
31.6C at midnight for 2 nights. Fan was on its last legs and pretty ineffective.
Same thing 4 years ago so nothing changed.
Probably buy a great steak restaurant but little focus on accommodation.
Großes Zimmer, gute Schallisolation, gute Lage, sehr gemütlicher Außenbereich, Parkplatz inbegriffen, freundliches Personal, gutes englisches "cooked breakfast"
Friendly staff, close to town centre, ample parking
Location suited our needs
Restaurant on site
Free parking
Room was very hot ( weather was also hot)
No aircon but fans supplied but 1 not working properly.
No real interaction with staff manager seemed very busy
The staff were brilliant, every one of them were friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast and in the evening was good.
Located next to a busy roundabout, during the current hot weather you need the window open, letting in the noise. Also concerned that the car park is controlled by Euro car parks.
Great room in a good location as we used it for our onward journey to Folkestone. Great food in the evening. We left before breakfast though. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
It was a particularly hot day and our room had sun on it all day so was very warm at night. However a fan was provided.
