One night in a mouldy smelly room, wouldn't stay again, staff miserable.
Pros:

The room was okay, the bed was comfy. We did find the room didn't suffer from the bar downstairs. Large carpark. kettle for tea and coffee in room. That is about all you could say about the plus side of the experience.

Cons:

The shower was mouldy, made the room smell of mould, staff could smile occasionally. The bed was comfy, the manager was so miserable as if we were a nuisance, not paying guests. No wardrobe, just a small hanging contraption that just about did our coats and as it rained that was all you could hang up or it would all have got wet. Wouldn't stay there again. We know the town well as we lived there for over 30 years so knew where it was, so the traffic was no surprise and to be honest does calm down, until about 5.30am, then the lorries and cars start again, but we needed to be off early so didn't affect us, but if your looking for a quiet lay in you won't get one. There was one disabled space and was taken by a non blue badge holder, this does not seem to be policed.

Prima hotel voor 1 nacht op doorreis naar Norfolk
Pros:

Ontbijt was prima daar is niet op aan te merken wij hadden een Engels ontbijt. Het parkeren was prima geregeld en er was plek genoeg. Wifi is minder je moet eerst een account aan maken.

Het hotel ligt aan een drukke weg waardoor er veel geluid is

Good location
Pros:

Great location for a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Lots of free parking. Huge breakfast. Staff really friendly. Nice clean room, comfortable bed

Cons:

Noise from the road.. The very creaky floorboards but as it is a grade 2 listed building, nothing to be done about that.

Great restaurant, hotel rooms need improvement.
Pros:

The good reviews are obviously relating to the restaurant which is excellent. The food is very good and the staff are excellent.

Cons:

Our room (10) was terrible. It had a strange smell of soot and was directly above the kitchen extraction system. It was very stuffy and impossible to get air into the room. Also the staff were disposing of empty bottles into the yard below which was very noisy.

Very pleasant and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Pros:

Close to town centre and river with excellent restaurant in house.

Cons:

A little noisy with road traffic, quite steep stairs to second floor carrying a suitcase.

Comfortable and relaxed
Pros:

The cleanliness, the size of the room, the good food , location to our friends birthday party and town, and the friendly, helpful staff, would definitely recommend to friends and family and we would stay again

Cons:

Toilet seat was wobbly and the sink took a while to drain away but apart from those minor issues there was nothing else to add as I am sure if we were staying longer and had raised it the staff would have been helpful.

Room was very noisy. Only a small bit of hanging space & no draw space. Badly designed shower & bathroom that wet everywhere & made it sloppy & dangerous. Limited breakfast choice that was not cooked & no staff on hand for breakfast for 15 mins.

Belle chambre bel emplacement mais bruyant

Chambre quadruple avec deux ados spacieuse et lits confortables

Bon emplacement pour se rendre dans le centre à pied
Places de parking disponibles

Cons:

Le bruit !
Qui nous a clairement empêché de dormir correctement
Le soir musique jusqu’à 23 heures passé et le matin dès 6 heures les livraisons et à peine 7 heures la musiques de l’hôtel 😞
Donc attention si vous êtes sensibles au bruit comme nous.

A comfortable stay - nothing flash but clean and comfortable.
Pros:

Parking was good and while we were facing the main road, we were not disturbed by noise. We did have a lovely view of the sunset! Also grateful for one of the restaurant staff who helped with our luggage upstairs.

Cons:

No lift. (But grateful for staff member who assisted with luggage as we were up 2 levels)

Make Wifi better experience to log in. No Aircon. Room gets warm if window closed and its near a busy roundabout but, didn't really bother me

Pros:

The room was fine and clean… very comfortable

Cons:

But the noise was a big problem… I can understand the classic style etc… but at least repair them… I felt like I been sleeping with open window… very noisy and woke up because of a car at 4 am and not sleeping anymore
