Not bad just property needs TLC
Pros:

Very welcoming staff

Cons:

Property could do with some TLC regarding decoration paint was peeling off the ceiling in places paintwork was showing signs of looking tatty with ingrained dirt/stains in places

Room was large Bed comfortable clean room Friendly staff Good breakfast Tea/coffee Kettle in room. Not to noisy Walking distance of station, venue Great.

Cons:

Would have liked cereal to be offered for breakfast, Pillows need an upgrade very lumpy.

Weekend break.
Pros:

Warmth of the room (AC controls).
Next to maidstone Town centre and local shops and restaurants.
Staff obliging and facilitated our request for a bucket of ice and wine 🍷 glasses to bring to our room.
Lovely breakfast and good choice of menu.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Communal toilets clean.

Cons:

Door handle to room came off a few times when accidentally turned in an effort to unlock/pull the door open.
Outside of building could do with a paint job.
I am not sure if the building is advertised as disabled friendly but I could see challenges especially as all bedrooms are upstairs without a lift.

Despite these problems we still enjoyed our time there. The whole staff were great and deserve medal
Pros:

I was disappointed with my bedroom. Not the sort of furnishings normally expected although I understand that the building is Grade2 listed.

Cons:

The access to sleeping area was via a 19tread narrow, steep stair not good for myself and daughter who both have mobility problems. Prior to visiting I had,contact Miller & Carter and was told the first floor stairs were only 6treads (ok) but in reality not good and concerned us both during our stay.

Rooms were outdated but very clean. Friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant

Cons:

Key safe was in the bar area, we had to left early the next morning so had to leave key with the chef. Night phone where not working outside our room

Good stay
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Second stay, as soon as you walk to the room there is strong smell of bleach. Radiators not turned on, find out in the middle of night as was cold.
