Skvělá lokalita, příjemný personál. Pokoj v 11 patře s výhledem na město. A klid :-)

Cons:

Před desítkami let byl hotel jistě špička, dnes bohužel působí zašle a na první pohled nevlídně.

Na hotel se člověk nesmí dívat z venku,chtělo by to opravit, ale pokoje jsou po rekonstrukci a čisté. Pro přespání ideální.
Snídaně dostačující.
Pro někoho kdo rád historii bych doporučil hodně.

Hotel Labe, Pardubice – From Glory Days to Life Support!

Hotel Labe? What on earth went wrong?!

I first stayed at Hotel Labe in 1997, visiting Pardubice for the prestigious Czech Golden Helmet (Zlatá přilba) speedway weekend. I returned for four or five years, and back then, this was a fantastic hotel. It had two restaurants, an onsite bar, a nightclub, a casino and even a hairdresser. It was a lively, well-equipped establishment that had plenty to offer its guests.

Fast-forward to October 2026, and the contrast is absolutely staggering.

Hotel Labe has gone from a thriving hotel to an establishment that looks as though it is on life support.

The residents’ restaurant now opens solely for breakfast. The bar is closed, and even the toilets beside it are locked. The hairdresser, casino and nightclub? All long gone.

What was once a hotel with facilities, atmosphere and character now feels like a shell of its former self. Hotels evolve, of course, but this feels less like evolution and more like a slow-motion collapse.

And then there is the restaurant situation.

The ground-floor restaurant, which once catered to hotel guests and the general public, is now a separate business not owned by the Hotel Labe, serving high-quality Asian food. The food itself deserves credit, but the arrangements for accessing it are utterly ridiculous.

The hotel Labe restaurant is no longer open in the evenings, operating solely at breakfast, yet the internal door leading to the Asian restaurant is permanently locked., despite the Labe not competing with the Asian restaurant for customers. Consequently, hotel guests must leave the building and walk around the outside just to enter a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel!

Read that again: you cannot walk from the hotel into the ground-floor restaurant within the hotel complex, because the connecting door is permanently locked!

Pros:

Pri vchode do Hotela som sa zľakol aká bude kvalita. Pôsobí až veľmi retro ale ľudia boli uctivi, nápomocní a profesionálni. Izby boli nové zrekonštruované. Kúpeľne nové a moderne zariadené. Výborne matrace.

Cons:

Ranajky by mohli byť pestrejšie. Ale aj tak sme sa najedli do sýta.
