We had an amazing stay at Gorgona Villas and would happily return. What we appreciated most was the tranquility and intimacy of the property. Compared to many nearby accommodations, it offers excellent value for money while still providing one of the most breathtaking caldera views in Santorini. One of our favorite things was the freedom to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi at any hour of the day or night. Interestingly, most guests seemed to spend their days exploring the island, which often left us with plenty of space to ourselves. Since we stayed for five full days, we chose to slow down and truly enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning panorama rather than rushing from place to place.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the housekeeping lady, who went above and beyond every day. She kept the room spotless, made our beds daily, and always greeted us with a smile. Her creative touches, such as making decorative flowers from toilet paper, added a personal and memorable touch to our stay. We also loved having a kitchenette with a spacious refrigerator. It allowed us to enjoy our own coffee and yogurt each morning while taking in the incredible scenery. The room itself is not particularly large and luggage space can be somewhat limited, but it is charming, cozy, and full of authentic Greek character. The outdoor area was another highlight. The sunbeds, chairs, and table overlooking the caldera became our favorite spot for relaxing with a glass of wine or enjoying takeaway food while admiring the view. The jacuzzi/pool is shared among several rooms, yet we always had ample opportunities to use it. The water was pleasantly warm and perfect for unwinding after a day out. A detail we especially appreciated was that the property does not have large glass barriers obstructing the view.

We had a wonderful stay!

The apartment was very spacious, with a kitchen, living room, large bedroom, and bathroom. The air conditioning worked really well, and there were also dehumidifiers, which was a great bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.

What we loved the most was the terrace with the pool. Our apartment was on the same level as the pool, and luckily, the neighboring room hardly used it, or we simply used it at different times. So, most of the time, it felt like we had the whole terrace and pool to ourselves. The view was absolutely incredible! Honestly, there’s no need to book expensive restaurants just for the view — the terrace here is much more peaceful and probably has an even better one.

We also really appreciated how secluded the hotel is from the main pedestrian paths. You don’t have people constantly walking right outside your terrace or overlooking your space, which can happen even at some more expensive hotels.

The staff were also wonderful — everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming.

The apartment was cleaned every day, and a special thank you to the housekeeping ladies for keeping everything so nice and tidy!

We would definitely come back and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with an amazing view.

The location and the service!

Was fantastic! It's in the caldera, beautiful views, the small pool was super convenient, and the staff were amazing and super helpful! They offered us help with the baby, a complimentary crib, and also assisted with taxis/other programmes. I can only recommend, super good value, if we go back, we'll definitely stay here again!
