Great Location in Alishan.
Pros:

Location was excellent.Good Taiwanese breakfast with plenty of vegan options.

Cons:

Property is dated but clean.Hot water was not really hot.We were given the wrong time for the sunrise tour.Were asked to go to the reception at 5.25 am and the driver came at 6.00am

Pros:

Convenient staircase to the main Alishan area
Spacious and clean room
When it became cold, staff turned on building's HVAC

Cons:

Heater for shower was quite weak and at best produced lukewarm water
Breakfast is outsourced via coupon to small cafe with minimal choice
Non-existent wifi (1-2 mb/s)

Short of time for a quick visit to Alishan, this could be a decent choice for convenient location and additional service
Pros:

Great location, Convenient, close to train station, shuttle station, restaurant. Additional service provided with a fee for sunset, stargazing and sunrise tours.

Cons:

Extremely small room, barely have room to move around. Facility a little below average. I don’t have experience with other hotels in the area.

lovely mountain stay
Pros:

I loved the location of the hotel. It is so close to trails and stores in the park. The staff are kind and very helpful. They gave us information on a sunrise tour they do of Jade Mountain which we signed up for.

L’emplacement pas loin du centre

Cons:

Cher pour les prestations offertes, pas de petit déjeuner au sein de l’établissement, chambre très petite, les photos faisaient penser à une guesthouse au milieu de la forêt on est sur un parking !

Would recommend if staying at Alishan
Pros:

They have water (hot) for drinking tea or if you bring instant coffee.
Location is good.
Comfortable for what you need for a night or two, no refrigerator so just buy food at 7/11.

Cons:

Housekeeping didn't wash cups.
Walls are a little thin but I had earplugs.
They only turn heat on when it is very cold but the blankets are thick.
Coffee is sold only later in the morning and the included breakfast is too late for everyone going to sunrise.

Pros:

Great location, good and fair priced coffee at hotel

Cons:

Room heating is only switched on when the outside temperature is 10C or below. Some hairs on linen and overall the room, bathroom is one wet cell with lots of rust and mold
