Too Hot
Pros:

The view from the balcony faced the lake and mountains. The private lakeside area. Plenty storage space. 2 very comfortable chairs.

Cons:

No air con and NO fan. Asked on arrival and was told they don't have fans. Had to keep the curtains closed all day to keep the heat from the sun out with temperatures up to 34°c. Struggled at night with the heat. Had to have cool showers. Breakfast was minimal. If you weren't early enough you didn't get a choice of croissants. From the UK a continental breakfast is not normal for us, so we survived on a portion of scrambled egg that was served to you. Probably could've asked for more, and a croissant. No toast on offer, only a bread roll or bread. A kettle but no coffee, just flavoured tea bags.

Wir haben uns im Erlhof rundum sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt – vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment!
Pros:

Es hat einfach alles gestimmt: Die Atmosphäre war angenehm ruhig und erholsam, alles wirkte hochwertig und liebevoll durchdacht. Besonders aufgefallen ist uns, dass nicht nur die „großen Dinge“ passen, sondern auch die Details: selbst die Gartenmöbel waren richtig solide und bequem, das Besteck war hochwertig – und sogar der Bademantel war herrlich weich. Genau diese Kleinigkeiten machen am Ende den Unterschied und sorgen dafür, dass man sich nicht nur untergebracht, sondern wirklich willkommen fühlt.

Dazu kommt die super Lage: perfekt als Ausgangspunkt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir waren mit der Vespa unterwegs und haben tolle Tipps für unsere Touren bekommen – das war wirklich Gold wert und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch einmal deutlich bereichert.

Ein weiteres Highlight war für uns das Seehaus: Wir haben es mit all seinen Extras sehr genossen – ein Ort zum Abschalten, Wohlfühlen und einfach nur Genießen.

Schade war nur, dass wir die Eigentümer am Ende nicht mehr persönlich angetroffen haben – wir hätten ihnen sehr gern direkt gesagt, wie glücklich wir mit unserem Aufenthalt waren. Deshalb auf diesem Weg: ein großes Dankeschön! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können den Erlhof uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Pros:

Sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter/in, die Familiere Atmosphäre, der Chef und Chefin packen genauso mit an wie die Angestellten. Jeder wünsch von mir würde erfüllt. Dort habe ich das Gefühl bekommen nicht nur der Gast ist König sondern auch die Mitarbeiter/in. Vielen Dank für alles.

Świetne miejsce na odpoczynek- mają nawet własną plażę.

Znakomita baza wypadowa dla zmotoryzowanych. Pięknie położony- po przeciwnej stronie jeziora w stosunku do Zell am See. Cisza i spokój. Cała obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna- mimo mojego kiepskiego angielskiego zawsze się dogadaliśmy. Jestem bardzo zadowolony.

Der kleine Privatstrand den man über die Straße erreicht, mit WC, Bootshaus, Miniterrasse und traumhaftem Blick, sowie der herrliche Zellersee 😊

Cons:

Der Kaffee war nicht berühmt und das Gebäck mag ich lieber knusprig und nicht zäh. Für den Preis hätte das Zimmer inkl. Bad größer sein können. Preis/Leistung war für mein Empfinden nicht gegeben.

Gut wenn man nicht von Montag bis Donnerstag bleibt
Pros:

Das Restaurant war sehr gut (Achtung, Dienstag und Mittwoch Ruhetag, siehe unten) und auch das Frühstück war gut, es findet in dem modernen Zweitbau des Hotels statt mit schöner Sicht.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer von Montag bis Donnerstag gebucht und hatten das Hotel auch wegen des gelobten Restaurants und der Sauna ausgewählt. Als wir ankamen, erfuhren wir, dass das Hotel Dienstag und Mittwoch Ruhetag hat - was bedeutet, dass sowohl das Restaurant als auch die Sauna geschlossen sind. Da wir Montag Abend ankamen, konnten wir auch an diesem Tag die Sauna nicht mehr nutzen. Zum Glück schafften wir es noch schnell ins Restaurant, die anderen Tage mussten wir uns anderweitig versorgen und es gibt nicht sooo viel außenrum. Die Info steht bestimmt irgendwo, ich hätte mir allerdings gewünscht, dass das prominenter kommuniziert wird, da sich für uns der Aufenthalt, auch zu dem Preis, dadurch etwas weniger gelohnt hat und wir uns für diesen Reisezeitraum vermutlich für eine andere Unterkunft entschieden hätten.
