DECAN Concept Boutique exceeded our expectations in many ways. This was our first stop on our first visit to Rhodes and we only had a couple of days to explore the Old Town before moving on. On arrival, our flight had been delayed - I contacted the property before we flew to let them know, and the owner duly reply with details on how to access the property ourselves - but to our surprise he was there and waiting to welcome us in despite it being around midnight! The location was absolutely spot on - on a quiet street yet just a 2 minute walk (if that) from Hippocrates Square so close enough that we were able to get out and about to explore easily. The coffee shop serve a superb breakfast with an excellent menu from yoghurt and fruit to omelettes, toast dishes and range of coffees, juices and smoothies - all of which can be taken away too. The team were very welcoming and friendly, assisting with recommendations of where to go for an evening meal. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here if visiting Rhodes Old Town again!
Nothing. Be aware that there is no vehicular access to the property so you do need to walk around 2-3 minutes from the nearest town gate with your luggage. The rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. This wasn't a problem for us but worth noting if you have additional accessibility needs.
Proximity to the harbour, comfortable, quirky design. Loved the Bistro for breakfast.
Signage. I arrived at night and it was difficult to find as a single female traveller.
The location was right in centre of old town. We were able to access the accommodation early which was great.

Noise from bars till 4am, no reception area, very little human interaction.. This is not a boutique hotel felt more like Airbnb

Our room in the hotel was beautiful. We had the honeymoon suite (though not on honeymoon). The facilities were excellent - more than we could use in our one night stopover. The brunch and cocktail bar linked to the hotel was incredible - very busy for breakfast/brunch so go early if you don't want to queue. The breakfast was lovely and there was a vegan option for me. The location was perfect - only a short walk to the ferry terminals. Right in the heart of the old town but still on a less busy street.
The steps up to the room were very steep. The host helped us with our bags but it might not suit everyone. The street was noisy with music until about 3am but as long as we had the windows closed it did not effect us.
Stanza davvero comoda e accogliente, silenziosa nel cuore della città vecchia. Arredamento arabeggiante. Ottima posizione: centrale, pratica e perfetta per vivere il soggiorno con comodità. Personale della struttura cordiale e disponibile. Se dovete prendere un taxi per il porto o per l’aeroporto, potete richiedere alla reception il servizio navetta comunale (gratuito). Un Golf Kart verrà a prendervi, caricherà voi e i vostri bagagli e vi accompagnerà comodamente alla prima stazione taxi situata al di fuori delle mura della città vecchia.
Stanza bella, ma l’arredo era decisamente sovraccarico: decorazioni ovunque e numerosi lampadari sospesi proprio sul letto, con un effetto di ingombro non proprio rilassante.
Kamer zag er heel leuk uit. Locatie was top en rustig en personeel was heel vriendelijk. Ontbijt bij de bistro was ook top!
Airco maakte wel wat lawaai.

Slightly bizarre check in service in the restaurant, some details throughout the room were a bit shabby (toilet roll holder fell off the wall, shampoo holder fell off the wall), rooftop rubbish was overflowing and wasn’t emptied.
