No services
Old fashioned and outdated decor, worn towels and bedsheets
All sorts of negative warning notices and prohibitions
Busy street in the mornings
Good location, great staff
The room was basic with little storage for belongings. Locks seemed flimsy. It was very very loud because the room is not remotely sound proofed, and people are required to take the stairs inches from your bed, as there is no elevator. When people ring the bell to get into the hotel, you can hear it in your room. There are a number of nearby schools which broadcast a message at 6am every day. It also means there is a lot of traffic.
The rooms themselves are very dark as there is almost no natural light, yet the curtains still fail to keep out the sunlight in the morning.
Breakfast was awesome!! We loved sitting in the covered area and having a quiet morning or sitting our front and seeing the morning start. The location was perfect as we walked everywhere and if not the taxis could easily find the place. It was fun meeting people who came to get ice cream and the staff were very accommodating. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet.
It would have been great to have a chair in the rooms to sit in. It would have been nice to have recommendations for restaurants and the temples which were so close by. But other than that it was a perfect stay.
Warm and sincere service. We weren’t a fan of the local breakfast and the staff were concerned when they saw our half eaten food. They reached out and we asked for a Western breakfast, which they gladly accommodated. That is a gesture you won’t find in many hotels!
We booked 2 rooms and my room faced the main road, which was often busy all day and night. I had trouble sleeping since I was a light sleeper.
Everything you need and although very central, a quiet location. Very clean and comfortable, and lady was very welcoming.
Breakfast was included, but when we went downstairs couldn’t see anyone which was a shame.
Kind service and rooms very clean. Personnel were very charming and attentive.
Location also is really good.
Nothing! Will repeate when we come back to Chiang mai
This is a lovely property; with elegant and tasteful decor and styling in keeping with the building. The staff are all very helpful and polite. We were offered a choice of two room upgrades, and were very satisfied with the room we chose. It had a large bay window and was generally spacious with plenty of storage. The bathroom was a very good size and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding: freshly made Thai food in plentiful quantities were provided everyday. The owner checked food requirements with us on the day of arrival. The food was different on each of the four days. There was also a small selection of other options, such as bread and jam. The location is excellent - central and within easy walking distance to the city attractions. Quick and cheap taxi to airport or train station.
The WiFi was a bit unreliable. Personally I would prefer towels in a light colour rather than brown, but they smelled clean and fresh so it wasn't an issue. The same is true of sheets, which were white on the pictures. Some kind of seal or brush on the door would prevent a few very ants from getting in, but these were by no means a problem. Highly recommended.
Location: close to the temples inside the old city.
Staff: super friendly staff since we arrived. They also have a homemade ice cream shop and gave us a small cup to the family for free. Delicious ice cream.
Service: I paid for breakfast included but 2 days I left early in the morning for the tours and the owner asked the day before and when I mentioned our plans, those 2 days, she left us a bag with sandwiches, snacks and drinks for the family as breakfast.
Also, they day we left, I forgot passports in the room and after getting to the airport and back to hotel (probably 30 minutes) they already checked the room and found them, secured them and had them ready for pickup, without me even notify them of that.
Area in town very good can walk to walking Street on weekend and very nice owner and staff I will be back again
It was a lovely location, beautiful little building, very helpful staff.
