Would recommend staying at this hotel if you want an intimate experience at an affordable price!
Pros:

It was clean and the front desk staff was super friendly! Due to the typhoon, all the buses and train services were suspended so she was able to arrange a car service to bring me and the other guests out of the area. It was also close to the park area

Cons:

No fridge and the walls were thin (these weren’t issues to me in particular but I can see it affecting others)

We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was nice and the area is a must for doing a sunrise hike.
Pros:

The room was nice, finally a little lamp besides the bed which is not common in Taipei.

Cons:

The breakfast coupon is really not worth it… would go to another place to have breakfast.

Pros:

Freundliche, hilfsbereite Dame am Empfang die einem sofort Tipps zum Park gibt. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen aber picobello sauber.

Cons:

Das Bad ist sehr sehr alt und roch durchgehend feucht und modrig. Das Waschbecken ist so wackelig, dass die ein Teil des Abwassers aus dem Rohr auf den Boden lief. Der Preis passt hier nicht zur Leistung

Sehr gut gelegen für die Wanderungen im Park. Kurzer Weg zu Bahnhof, Shops etc.
Sehr nettes Personal an Rezeption, das auch sehr gut Englisch sprach.

Betten super bequem.

Cons:

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht (Ausstattung, Zustand vs Preis) Man bezahlt die Lage und für die praktischen kurzen Wege ist es das Geld wert.

Das Frühstück im Lokal ist sehr einfach. Immerhin bieten sie eine Option an. Alternative ist der 7 Eleven.

Perfect
Pros:

While they were doing renovations I was directed to a different accommodation. Staff informed me upfront and was very friendly directing me to the other hotel. That specific place was excellent!

Staff was friendly and communicated clearly.
Pros:

The hotel is being renovated. They warned me in advance and at my agreement, I was assisted to a different BnB. They charged me nearly 50$ less. I was right near the train station and the breakfast place.

Cons:

I was understanding of moving. I suppose, the fact that I couldn’t stay there.

Pros:

The staff is very very friendly and supportive.

Cons:

the room is much smaller than expected. We booked a room for 4 with 2 double beds and we cannot even open the luggague (L size) inside the room and had to take it outside to open and get our stuff. yeah, we could opend 1 lugguage M size and we had to step over it to move in the room.
no elevator so you have to carry your luggague to your room, it can be in the 2nd floor (no room in the ground floor).

War solide. Alles bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr so ansehnlich, aber es war sauber.
