Perfect stop through Innsbruck
Pros:

We stayed one night on the way to Dolomites. Breakfast was superb. We especially liked Lucy and Ella, the two Bernese doggies that greeted us during our stay. The location was amazing to walk through Tirol over the river. Perfection!

We stayed at Gasthof Badl – Bed & Breakfast for one night on our way home from South Tyrol, and it was a wonderful stop.

It’s an amazing, family-owned place with a very convenient exit from the motorway. The location is great — about a 10-minute walk to the city center. The town is definitely worth visiting if you like history: it feels like the city has been frozen in time, yet everything is very clean, well maintained, and well cared for.

Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options — and a huge choice of different teas 😊.

A special bonus for families: they have two huge, very kid-friendly St. Bernard dogs (like Beethoven from the movie). All the kids staying at the hotel — including ours — were petting and hugging them, and the dogs seemed totally used to it (and maybe even enjoyed it!). After we got home, my 3-year-old kept asking to go back to the “BIG DOGS.”

The owner’s recommendations for things to do with kids were spot on. The price was very reasonable for the quality, and we would happily stay here again.

Liegt nahe der Autobahn - man hört aber keinen Lärm. In die Stadt kann man gut zu Fuß gehen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, das Frühstückst gut und die Gastgeber herzlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
