Smiling welcome, happy staying
Pros:

The owner is a very kind and nice man! The room is clean and comfortable with very good position. The cost is very reasonable to be in Iceland.

Cons:

The bistro, very well rated, inside the guesthouse is now closed because of the low season. We had dinner at the restaurant which was nice.

Just what we needed after our trek. Clean showers with nice water pressure and comfy beds. Thanks you!

Cons:

It gets really warm in the rooms, which means you have to sleep with the windows open and the curtains cracked, letting in sunlight that might wake you up. It would be nice if there was a better way to keep the rooms cool.

het voldeed voor ons. alles wat we nodig hadden was goed voorzien. een aanrader voor wie hier komt.
Pros:

Rustig gelegen in het centrum van Holmavik. We werden verwelkomd door de eigenaar, een Ijslander, we kregen zonder meerprijs een upgrade kamer. 's avonds konden we thee en koffie nemen. Het gebouw was wat ouder, en de badkamer niet heel groot, maar bruikbaar genoeg. 's ochtends ontbijt, voldoende eten, de keuze was niet heel groot, maar er was genoeg te eten, en vriendelijke bediening.

Cons:

ik denk ,dat ze de mogelijkhedsen van het pand goed benut hebben. het dorpje was een beetje uitgeleefdin de oude kant. Er waren echter ook wat nieuwe straten, waar dan ook de nieuwewere woningen stonden. We waren te laat om het museum te bezoeken, en noorderlicht hebben we er ook niet gezien. Maar daar kan de eigenaar ook niets aan doen.

Pros:

location was convenient. Room was a little pn the small small side if travelling with a lot of baggage, but did not feel claustrophobic. Staff were excellent and helpful. Breakfast is upstairs. View is great. Wonderful family owned and operated. Building has historic value. Location is great for local restaurants and museum, etc. Great location to explore hiking nearby.

Ensimmäistä kertaa Holmavikissa
Pros:

Viihtyisä huone ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Teetä sai keittää milloin vain. Positiivinen yllätys oli, että huoneluokka korotettiin, koska yövyin kaksi yötä :)

Cons:

Aamiainen vaatimaton majoituksen hintaan nähden: muroja, leipää, kananmuna, mehua ja keksejä. Läntisessä osassa Islantia hintataso lienee korkeampi, mutta olisin toivonut aamiaisen sisältävän edes tuoreita hedelimiä.
