Heerlijke plek waar wij weer terug komen!
Pros:

Mooie en nette kamer. Alles wat je nodig hebt. Locatie is top. Echt een paar meter van het strand. In de buurt genoeg eettentjes. Kleine 30 min. lopen naar Old Town. Maar je kan lekker langs het strand of langs alle restaurants en winkeltjes lopen. Personeel ook erg aardig en behulpzaam.

Pros:

Het is een moderne en comfortabele accommodatie. Uitgerust met een woonkamer met open keuken, mooie badkamer en ruime slaapkamer en klein balkon/terras. Overal airco's en horren aanwezig. De accommodatie ligt net achter het strand, met voldoende restaurantjes en supermarktjes in de buurt. Wil je naar de Old Town dan moet je ongeveer 30 minuten lopen. Let op, parkeren kan lastig zijn, er is beperkt plek bij de accommodatie.

Μου άρεσε το ευρύχωρο και καθαρό δωμάτιο, η ευγενική συμπεριφορά της ιδιοκτήτριας, η ύπαρξη βασικών σκευών κουζίνας και σχετικών προϊόντων (λ.χ. ζάχαρη, καφές, λάδι, υγρό πιάτων, σφουγγαράκι).

Cons:

1) Ο περιβάλλον χώρος δεν είναι ωραίος, αλλά αυτό δεν είναι ευθύνη του ξενοδοχείου.
2) Από τις 8.00 και εξής ακουγόταν ένας επαναλαμβανόμενος ήχος (σαν από σιδερωτήριο). Δεν είμαι σίγουρη αν προερχόταν από το ξενοδοχείο.
3) Πρέπει να συνδεθεί ο απορροφητήρας με σωλήνα, διαφορετικά δεν μπορεί κανείς να μαγειρέψει (οσμές και υδρατμοί θα μένουν στον χώρο).

Pros:

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit vielen schönen Details. Mary ist eine sehr liebe und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin! Lage in einer ruhigeren Seitenstraße, man ist aber schnell im Trubel wenn man möchte. Sehr langer und schöner Sandstrand.

Relaxing, easeful and convenient
Pros:

Mary was so helpful during the check in process and made me feel right at home during my stay. The room was cozy, clean and felt spacious. The shower is wonderful! The modern feel of it was relaxing. It’s a few steps from the beach and a few great restaurants. It was easy to park on the street as well (free). It’s a 30 minute walk to old town or you can rent an e-scooter at the beach and ride that to town.

Our stay at Calmare suites was incredible. I highly recommend it. The location is great! It is just opesite the sea with many restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful.

We should all take notes from Greek hospitality, they really know how to make us feel like home!
Pros:

The room was nice and modern and the beach was really close, with a bit of distance from the crowd of the town. The highlight of our stay was of course the warm welcome and hospitality we have received. We really felt valued as guests and were happy to be there :)

Cons:

The street is a bit sketchy looking (although we felt safe). It is really difficult to park in the area in season but possible.

We were received and treated with lots of warmth from our host.
The location is excellent, just 2 minutes walk from the beach and pretty quiet, building being situated behind the main road.

Cons:

The parking lot is tight, better not to rent a big car.

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay here in Calmare Suites. The owner is very kind and prepared us gifts for our birthday, as a surprise. She has great tips for the local area and around the island. The room we stayed in was large and had great amenities. You can walk to the center of Rethymno in 20 minutes, passing bars and restaurants from the seaside. It is also far enough to have a quiet good nights sleep. I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here if we are back on the island.
