The only downside was the food. There was a wide selection but not great tasting. Can’t order room service after 10 so I’m glad I got half board because the snacks for all inclusive.

Breakfast buffet offered a complete range. Location was good but even walking to the local town was not practical with poor footpaths and a lack of safe walking options.

Bardzo ograniczony wybór win, białe nie do picia. Zachowanie Barmana w głównym barze na poziomie recepcji niedopuszczalne! Niewybredne uwagi zupełnie nie na miejscu. Opinie pozytywne na temat Putina!?!? Kto to jest i czy on nie wie, że jest w pracy?!! Niedopuszczalne!!!

I am overall happy with my stay. If you need a resort vacation in Crete, this won't disappoint.
Pros:

The property was pretty new/renovated and very clean everywhere. Rooms were nicely decorated. The staff at the reception and the person that took me and my luggage to my room was very polite and friendly. The housekeeping was very good at what they were doing. I had to call the housekeeping twice to my room and in both times they were very warm and helpful. I also received a breakfast upgrade at the exclusive lounge and a dinner at Mezedaki, by Matthew (from guest relations - I guess). Very polite and thoughtful of them... Many thanks. The beach was beautiful; the sea was perfect to swim in. I did not try the swimming pools; so I cannot say anything about them. So, all in all the staff gets 5 stars from me <3

Cons:

The hotel was fully booked when I was there. So, it was difficult to find sunbeds at the beach. Some of the parasols were broken. The food at the main restaurant was ok but nothing spectacular. Lastly, there is an urgent need of good coffee in the restaurant. The coffee from the machine was very bad. The hotel is advertised as 5 stars but definitely is below that. Still, it is a solid 4.5 stars for me. The food quality and the upkeeping of the beach area needs improvement.

El hotel superó nuestras expectativas, tanto por el lugar, ya que se encuentra en una bahía preciosa, como por las instalaciones, que cuentan con todo lo necesario para hacerte sentir en el paraíso. La comida muy rica, variada y abundante. El personal muy atento, simpático y dispuesto a ayudar con todo lo necesario. Un lugar ideal para disfrutar y descansar.

This hotel definitely does not deserve 5 stars. It is a 4-star hotel. The room price is twice what it’s actually worth. The rooms are average, and the breakfast is mediocre. There is nothing that defines it as a 5-star hotel. In my opinion, the price they charge does not justify what they offer.

I don’t think this is a good all-inclusive option at this hotel, considering that really good food can be found at other tavernas in the area

Pros:

L’hôtel est clairement à vocation familiale. La salle de restaurant est très belle avec une belle vue. Les chambres sont propres et plutôt spacieuses et confortables. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine dédiée avec toboggans. La piscine à débordement située juste au dessus du parc aquatique est superbe. La plage est plutôt sympa.
Bel accueil avec des présents pour les enfants dans la chambre et pour les parents ;-) très appréciable

Cons:

La nourriture du self (séjour all inclusive ou demi pension) n’est pas à la hauteur. Nous avons fait 4 établissements 5 étoiles en Crète et celui ci était de loin le moins bien en terme de nourriture et même de boisson. Très industriel, style « cantine ». Notamment les plats chauds n’ont pas de goût et sont surtout très gras (tout baigne dans l’huile). Les produits ne sont clairement pas de qualité. Nous avons seulement mangé les crudités et entrées froides.
L’hôtel pourrait être mieux entretenu (les bains de soleil notamment étaient très sales). Même si globalement cela reste propre.
Plus de serviette de plage après 16h.

Beau Resort touristique, un peu cher
Pros:

Plage sur une belle localisation
Piscines communes grandes et adaptées aux enfants.
Petit déjeuner très bien

Cons:

Nous avions pris une piscine avec notre chambre mais qui était un peu froide.
Quelques fourmis dans la chambre et insonorisation moyenne.
Le rapport qualité prix reste cher

Very friendly staff, good location and very clean. Spa service and staff were also very nice.

Cons:

Needs to make up its mind if it's a 5* resort or more of a good 3* family package hotel. I stayed a few years ago and it feels very different.

Room - Booked a double room which was then two single beds pushed together which made it very uncomfortable and the AC never really worked.

Facilities - Where to start, bonkers policy of having to make reservations at lunch for any restaurant other than the buffet despite them being empty. Food in these restaurants was standard at best. One hut to get towels and one bar open on beachfront so not only is it very busy but if you happen not to bag one of the hotly contested sunloungers prepare to be walking up to a few hundred meters to get a drink (which means it's gone by the time you get back), there is no service at the loungers, drinks or snacks. I had to do a little work whilst there and there is no where to get a coffee other than the beach bar... the lounge doesn't open till 5pm. Its just all a little too over engineered and has lost its luxury feeling.

If youre a family with youngsters and want a easy hotel with what I am sure is good buffet dining then this might suit but I would not recommend as a luxury resort.

Dream Holiday in Crete
Pros:

One of the nicest resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The location was perfect right on the water with exceptional amenities. I originally booked a deluxe oceanfront room with an infinity pool but upon arrival the amazing staff upgraded us to a private villa with a private pool (1000/10) the staff were beyond exceptional and helpful in every way possible. The food in the restaurants was delicious! It’s about an hour from the Heraklion airport and about a 10min drive into town where it’s lovely to walk around the shops and restaurants along the water and easy to book excursions. We stayed for 6 days so we did explore the island as much as we could out to Samariá Gorge, Chania, Elafonisi Beach (pink sand) and the museums in Heraklion. The location, the food and the hospitality made this holiday in Crete a dream!
