Beaucoup d’atouts malgré un rapport qualité / prix décevant
Pros:

La chambre était spacieuse, agréable et bien aménagée. Un accueil romantique apprécié en chambre à l’arrivée. Le Spa et le restaurant étaient très biens. Le jardin respectueux intéressant. Le parti pris artistique dans les chambres et les parties communes à saluer. Les ingrédients sont réunis pour passer un agréable moment. Globalement ce fut un bon séjour.

Cons:

Une note assez salée pour des prestations bonnes mais pas excellentes. Par exemple nous sommes restés à la porte car l’accueil n’a pas prévenu ni donné le code. On nous à servi à peine un tiers des coupes de champagne commandées, à 18€ la coupe (je salue cependant un geste octroyé après réclamation). Chambre non faite du weekend. Qualité du petit déjeuner très en dessous des 21€ facturés ; viennoiseries et brioches rassis, jus d’orange amer et café / chocolat sans goût. Bref des manques difficilement compréhensibles à ce niveau de prix.

Very charming hotel - well worth styaing there.
Pros:

Great hotel. Stayed in one of the larger rooms and all very good indeed. Overall a charming hotel with verny friendly people running it and great if you have a dog.

Cons:

Only issue was that there was an auto club meeting at the hotel and we had no choice but to eat what they were having as their menu since they had booked the resturant. Food was ok so no issue but it would have been good to know before hand.

Disappointing.
Cons:

The new decor on the 2nd floor was ridiculous and the vast eagle over our bed in room 19 was the stuff of nightmares. So silly and we have stayed many times over the past twenty years. Room service was incredibly slow and one of the restaurant staff at dinner soooo miserable.

Pros:

Accueil et chambre parfaite avec une vue magnifique et calme.
Le plus de ce magnifique endroit est l'engagement auprès des artistes qui en fait un lieu de liberté d'expression et d'originalité pour les clients qui ont la chance d'en profiter.

Le repas était très bon mais service un tout petit peu trop speed

Parfait.
Pros:

Très bon accueil. Souper agréable dans la cognathèque. Les chambres sont spacieuses, lumineuses et très bien insonorisées. Le petit déjeuner est très complet avec uniquement des produits locaux. Nous sommes venus à trois reprises et renouvellerons si de retour dans la région. La vue sur la Charente est agréable. L'accès aux spa, sauna et Hammam est un plus après un long voyage.

Personnel sympa

Cons:

Établissement vétuste surtout la piscine.
Un parasol pour une vingtaine de transats, qui étaient très sales d’ailleurs.
Consommations très chères pour ce genre d’établissement.chaises très inconfortables en terrasse.
