Nice location, good breakfast
There is constant humidity in the room, i think due to moist linen.
Not adequate lighting in the room.
Colazione molto variegata con dolce , salato e frutta ,abbondante, al 4° piano sulla terrazza che potevi ammirare il mare, personale accogliente, e gentile la piscina ha una buona dimensione e puoi trascorrere del tempo se non hai voglia di andare a mare.
il parcheggio è un pò piccolo non ce posto x tutti gli ospiti che hanno un auto, ma non si ha difficoltà a parcheggiare per strada
We truly loved our stay at this hotel. Everything was wonderful—the property itself, the friendly staff, the lovely pool, and the convenient guest parking. A major highlight was the beachfront location and having breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. We simply had a great experience overall.
we weren't big fans of the yellow bed linens we had upon arrival.
Also, while the location right by the water is great, it’s about a 15-minute drive from the center of Chania, so you do need a way to get around. We had a rental car, though, so it worked out perfectly for us.

Το μόνο που μου άρεσε πολύ ηταν η καθαριότητα και το πρωινό ήταν ικανοποιητικό. Κατά τα άλλα πολύ μέτρια πράγματα για 3στερο ξενοδοχείο ή τιμη ηταν υψηλή μήνα Σεπτέμβριο και το δωμάτιο χωρίς καθόλου θέα βλέπαμε το πάρκινγκ. Επίσης υπάρχει πρόβλημα στο συγκεκριμένο δωμάτιο που μείναμε το aircondition χτυπούσε πάνω στο κεφάλι μας ειναι ακατάλληλο στο σημείο που βρίσκεται.
Porto Alegre is a small, very cozy and welcoming hotel. The rooms were perfectly clean, with thorough housekeeping every single day. The location is excellent: within a short walking distance, you can easily reach three beautiful beaches. Transport connections are a huge plus! There is a bus stop right by the hotel to get to Chania town. Also, you can catch the bus directly from here to the ferry terminal for Balos Lagoon or take a ride to the famous Elafonisi beach. If you rent a car, the hotel is a great starting point to drive up through the breathtaking Theriso gorge, visit the stunning Lake Kournas, or discover other quiet, hidden corners of Crete. The magnificent view from the rooftop terrace during breakfast is absolutely beautiful and makes up for everything!
The breakfast itself is quite ordinary and repetitive, like a standard buffet. We would have loved to see a better selection of meats and cheeses. Also, the interior of the hotel feels a bit dated and could use a little modernizing.

Hôtel peu calme, l’Isolation phonique à revoir et la piscine est perchée au dessus de la route principale.
