Dissapointing Staff
Pros:

The size of the rooms

The hotel is ok for what it is, the rooms are a good size.

- The internet was a bit poor in the room atleast
- With regards to the breakfast, it's ok, but the variety is a bit poor. I mean, there is not much to choose from, pretty much the same thing everyday



The actual problem is the staff, including the owner of the hotel.

1. I asked the owner if I could have had a 5 minutes swim in the pool in the evening ( I was going to pay if req ). He's answer was " no, because we are pouring chemicals at this time, and you know ' Botox ' ? You don't want to get that".

I am fully aware of the noise regulations from 11PM from Greece as I travel in this country quite often...but he could have said this nicely

2 .When we were outside at the table, he rushed to tell us we are not allowed to stay if we do not order from the bar ( but we did )

3. Later on, I came with a few drinks from the room ( purchased from the bar one night before ). He stopped me saying I am not allowed to stay outside because those items are not from the bar. I advised they are. He then said they are not selling those drinks at the bar...the conversation ended when I told him I can show the receipt and transaction if required...a bit of harrasment I would say. He then insisted I open the bottles and put the drinks in some plastic cups he supplied...

4. On the last day, our plane was booked for late in the evening. We asked them if they can offer a courtesy room just for us to have a shower around 4-5PM on the day. I advised we will pay for this service. They quoted us 150 euros for a room which was available until 6PM on the day. I was just about to say " yes " only to check how much was a room for the entire night until the following day if I was to book it through Booking.com. A room until the next day was the equivalent of aprox 75 euros..

Pros:

Excellent hotel! I had a very pleasant stay at Porto Alegre Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was professional and friendly, and the location was very convenient. Everything was well organized and the staff were helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

Pros:

La amabilidad del personal, ubicación cerca de Chania y con muchos restaurantes y tiendas en los alrededores, cama y almohadas muy cómodas, desayunar mirando el mar con unas vistas estupendas. Tamaño de la habitación ideal.

Cons:

La cortina en la bañera /ducha, quizás sea algo personal pero me parece poco higiénico para un hotel. Muy limitado el gel de ducha/ shampoo, 2 mini botes al día solo , somos de mucha ducha y mi marido es alto pues necesitaríamos más. Una tostadora de pan en el desayuno no estaria mal.

Σίγουρα θα ξαναγυρίσουμε.
Pros:

Πολύ καθαρό ξενοδοχείο με μεγάλο δωμάτιο Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται πολύ καλή τοποθεσία μπροστά στη θάλασσα, δίπλα στη στάση του λεωφορείου. Κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης και στις πιο ωραίες παραλίες .Το πρωινό φανταστικό με πολλές επιλογές σε αλμυρά και γλυκά. Με φρέσκα φρούτα κάθε μέρα, και η θέα τέλεια ηρεμεί η ψυχή να παίρνεις πρωινό στον υπέροχο αυτό χώρο μπροστά στη θάλασσα!!!!

Πολύ καθαρό ξενοδοχείο!!! Υπέροχο πρωινό στο 4 όροφο του ξενοδοχείου με θέα τη θάλασσα.Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό .Πολύ ωραία παραλία με εστιατόρια δίπλα στο ξενοδοχείο. Δε χρειάστηκε να νοικιάσω αυτοκίνητο! Η στάση του λεωφορείου για την πόλη των Χανίων και για άλλες παραλίες είναι ακριβώς δίπλα.Θα ξαναέρθω σίγουρα.!

This hotel was very quiet...

Cons:

We ask for twin beds. On booking, this choice was available. This has been refused and the we ask to cancel this booking... They refused because it is in the "politics". But then, during the way to join the hoyel, my friwnd checked again for twin beds and on booking page it was Still available...

Το ξενοδοχείο μου αρεσε πολυ ηταν η δεύτερη χρονια που πηγα ,Η καθαριότητα μου άρεσε περισσότερο και οι ευγένεια όλου του προσωπικού, ειδικά στο πρωινό οι άνθρωποι ήταν πολύ ευγενική, στην ρεσεψιόν μας πρότειναν πολύ ωραία μέρη να πάμε και με της βαλίτσες μας μας βοηθήσανε ,πολύ καλός ο Χάρης στην ρεσεψιόν και η κυρία Ευανθία η καθαρίστρια μας φρόντισε πάρα πολύ καλά το δωμάτιο μας
