Socrates Apartments

A true hidden gem right next to the sea. There are several beach bars with sunbeds just steps from the property, and the main promenade with its restaurants is only a short walk away.

Eleni and Socrates are wonderful hosts who gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. The room was modern, newly renovated, air-conditioned, and very comfortable. In our case, we even had a lovely private outdoor seating area with a parasol, which was perfect for relaxing.

Car, scooter, and boat rental options are conveniently located right next door.

Schon bei der Ankunft fühlte man sich sofort herzlich willkommen. Da es sich um einen Familienbetrieb handelt, ist die Atmosphäre sehr persönlich – die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und nehmen sich immer Zeit für ein nettes Gespräch.

Highlights:

Zimmer: Unglaublich schön für diese Preisklasse, sehr modern eingerichtet und absolut makellos sauber. Es gab wirklich rein gar nichts zu bemängeln!

Lage: Die Location in Skala ist perfekt.

Toller Service: Ein mega Pluspunkt ist, dass kostenlos Sonnenschirme und Liegestühle für die Gäste bereitstehen, die man einfach für den Strand mitnehmen kann.

Ein wirklich großartiges Hotel mit Herz. Wir würden es jederzeit zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

We loved our stay at Socrates Apartments. Eleni is an amazing host she gave us the warmest welcome. The apartment was very clean, quiet, close to the beach and the main street.

Im very happy we stayed at Socrates apartments. It would be my first choice again if I return to Skala. The vacation was a treat for my mom and it was nice seeing her pleased and feel at home.

Eleni and Socrates were great hosts. They made us feel welcome. All communication was prompt and clear. They helped us with our bags as we arrived earlier than regular check in time. And, at check out we were able to store our bags till later. We appreciated having water provided at check out and the use of lavatory before leaving for the airport. Water is also provided in fridge in the room and Kefalonian sweets in our room on arrival was a lovely treat.

All rooms and bathroom were spacious with high ceiling and newly decorated, just like in the photos.

We haven't used the kitchen but it was spotless clean, microwave and coffee machine all equipments were modern. Everything you needed was available if you want to cook.

Balcony was long so there was enough space to dry clothes and still have enough room to sit and relax on the other side. We were able to enjoy the sunrise from our balcony. It was beautiful.

Also appreciated the daily housekeeping and fresh towels.

And it is perfect location between the beach and the town square, only minutes walk.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Great location. Wonderful, friendly welcome. Nice balcony overlooking the sea. Also a pool that can be used adjacent to the apartment as long as you purchase some food or drink from there. Lots of choices of restaurants nearby and beach in easy walking distance.

Was very clean and comfortable, family orientated, and location was exceptional. Would definitely go back. Eleni and her family were very friendly, such lovely people.
