Lovely property, great room, wonderful breakfast.
Pros:

Nice big room, very comfortable bed, good shower. Appreciated the honesty bar. Breakfast was wonderful.

Cons:

Needed a person to check in. So did all the other people who showed up at around the same time (after 7 pm).

Good enough for a one-time.
Pros:

The location seemed very nice, with the farm and animals beside. The decoration was also very authentic and farm-like, we liked the overall atmosphere. Breakfast was good and very qualitative (special mention the home-made skyr!) but lacking some hot options though (scrambled eggs, sausages, ect).

Cons:

Bedroom decoration need some updated decoration. Upon arrival there was no heating and the hotel people didnt respond to my messages or phone call (we got refunded a percentage though, thankfully!). In the morning we arrived 15min before closing and they were not restocking, I had to go find someone to ask them if they were going to restock, but the girl told me the breakfast was closed, I had to ask again so she did.

A charming hotel on a family farm
Pros:

The hotel is based on a family farm that has been owned by several generations of the current owners. It was very interesting to read the historical documents and look at the photographs in the corridors.
Very tasty breakfast and lots of space.

What a wonderful stay. With little light pollution the northern lights were easy to see. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly, check in was easy. And the rooms were sizable, clean and the beds were comfortable.
