Pros:

Very good location close to the Ring road and in a short drive to Godafoss and Myvatn. Very nice breakfast. Nice staff.

Cons:

The rooms are small, with not much space for the luggage. Curtains don't block the light from the night sun in the summer.
One of the rooms in our group had an horrible sewage smell and my friends couldn't sleep beause of it. That should be seen in advance, because it's unacceptable. Unfortunately we arrived after midnight and it was to late to ask for a room replacement.

Hotel Lauger stay
Pros:

I loved the set-up, privacy, and the breakfast. The staff were very kind and helpful!

Cons:

I didn't love that we got there late and our room was not done being cleaned, so we sat in the hall by the stairs for a bit. I loved that they offered laundry service, but it was 28$ USD for two bags of clothes (their bags). They came very nice and clean. We found out later that we would have access to cheaper laundry at our next 2 stops on this trip. The food was very expensive, and the quality was not that of a fine restaurant. It was still good though. Overall, it was a nice place to stop and I would stay here again all while keeping the above in mind.

Nice location, great food.
Pros:

Convenient location near Myvatin. This is a boarding school in the winter that doubles as a hotel in the summer. The rooms are what you would expect for a dormitory but were comfortable. The food was great (a good thing since there are no convenient restaurants in the area).

Cons:

The pool and recreation center were closed due to renovations. A small quibble since it was too cold to swim outside.

Pros:

Hôtel choisi par défaut car tous les hôtels autour du lac de Myvatn étaient complets.
Hébergement très calme.
Dîners et petits-déjeuners très corrects.
Excellent service de blanchisserie : linge donné le soir et récupéré le lendemain matin, repassé, plié.

Cons:

Le côté un peu vintage du lieu (probablement un centre de vacances reconverti ?) et donc "dans son jus"...

Trevlig hotell i fint atmosfär
Pros:

Trevlig bemötande, gammal internatskola rolig rums användning. Bra middagsservering i restaurant, bra frukost. Hjälpsam personal i receptionen.

Struttura molto grande, la ns stanza era piccola nella dependance. 3 letti e armadio e scrivania( essendo un collage in inverno) . Bagno pulito
Buona e varia la colazione. Plus la piscina esterna nella struttura accanto riscaldata
