Ein hervorragendes Hotel – wir waren rundum begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Hotel.
Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der Service des Personals: Auf unsere Bitte nach einem zusätzlichen Kissen wurde sehr schnell reagiert. Außerdem kamen wir später als geplant an, und freundlicherweise wurden für uns zwei Portionen Abendessen zurückgestellt.
Das Frühstück wird als großes Buffet angeboten, und wir hatten Halbpension, was sich als sehr praktisch erwiesen hat. Das Abendessen besteht aus Suppe, Salat, Hauptgericht und Dessert. Suppe und Salat können am Buffet ausgewählt werden, und das Hauptgericht wählt man im Voraus aus zwei Optionen.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel und verfügen über alle notwendigen Pflegeprodukte (Handtücher, Duschgel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Seife, Creme, eine Zahnbürste, Hausschuhe, Föhn, Wattepads). Gegen Aufpreis können Bademäntel ausgeliehen werden. Unser Zimmer hatte zudem einen Balkon mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Berge.
Die Umgebung ist sehr malerisch, mit Bergen rundherum. Im Preis inbegriffen ist die Nutzung von Sauna und Pool. In der Lobby stehen Kaffee, Tee und Wasser unbegrenzt zur Verfügung. Außerdem gibt es verschiedene alkoholische Getränke zu sehr fairen Preisen im Selbstbedienungssystem; die Abrechnung erfolgt bequem über die Hotelkarte und wird beim Check-out bezahlt.
Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen draußen zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind gut schallisoliert – von den Nachbarzimmern war kaum etwas zu hören. Ein Aufzug ist ebenfalls vorhanden.

Cons:

Einige Punkte haben uns jedoch weniger gefallen.
Zur Umgebung: Wir waren vom 29. April bis 1. Mai vor Ort, und in dieser Zeit waren nahezu alle Restaurants in der Umgebung geschlossen. Laut Informationen öffnen viele erst im Juni. Wenn man also zusätzlich außerhalb des Hotels zu Mittag essen möchte, ist das kaum möglich – im Umkreis von etwa 20 km gibt es praktisch keine geöffneten Optionen. Auch der nahegelegene Lift auf den Berg in Mandarfen (den wir für einen Spaziergang nutzen wollten) war außer Betrieb, sodass nur ein Aufstieg zu Fuß möglich war.
Zum Hotel selbst: Im Saunabereich gibt es drei Varianten (finnische Sauna, Dampfbad und Infrarotkabine). Leider funktionierte nur die finnische Sauna einwandfrei. Das Dampfbad war nur eingeschränkt nutzbar, und in der Infrarotkabine funktionierte lediglich eine Seite, während die gegenüberliegende nicht in Betrieb war. Zudem gibt es einen Salzraum, in dem sich die Tür nur schwer schließen lässt. Abgesehen vom Salz auf dem Boden bietet dieser Raum wenig – es wäre wünschenswert, wenn zusätzlich eine feine Salzvernebelung vorhanden wäre.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr schön renoviert und sauber, Betten bequem, das Badezimmer war auch ok und neu renoviert, aber sehr sehr klein. Frühstück war gut. Kaffe, Tee und Wasser jederzeit kostenlos, ansonsten bucht man die Getränke per self-service auf die Zimmerkarte. Auch während des Abendessens muss man die Getränke selbst holen. Das ist ok, für junge Leute und Familien, aber ist vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache.

Cons:

Das Personal war freundlich, konnte aber zum Teil weder Deutsch noch Englisch. Auch die Kaffeemaschine war auf Tschechisch eingestellt, genauso wie der Fernseher und diverse andere Beschriftungen. Wir waren nur zwei Tage zum Skifahren da, ein Platz zum Schlafen, nah am Gletscher, aber nicht unbedingt das, was man von einem Hotel in Österreich erwartet. Das gilt insbesondere für die Qualität des Abendessens: schlechte Auswahl, sehr fleischlastig, selbst wenn nach Allergien gefragt wurde und diese auf dem Zettel am Tisch notiert wurden, mussten wir zwei mal nachfragen, um ein milchfreies Abendessen zu bekommen, und am Ende war auf der Tomatensoße trotzdem ein Berg Parmesan drauf. Einzig die Salatbar war sehr gut.

The property customer services team doesn’t speak English and the hang up the phone when they hear you talking in English. It is ridiculous.

Further, the lie in Bookings that they don’t have availability when trying to reschedule the dates and at the same time when you try to search for the wanted new dates there is available.

I tried to reschedule as my baby daughter was with 40.1 degree fever and when I contacted them over the phone, they weren’t able even to speak a proper English and they were so so lacking of empathy or understanding that they told me : “ It is my problem, your child is unwell “

The Zurich Insurance is rubbish too, don’t waste your money either there!
