Enjoyable after many years abscence.

Large room and bathroom. Very spacious accommodation. High ceilings contribute to the look. Traditional style building. Cooked breakfast included in my room rate. Plenty of storage space in the room.

Cons:

Shower cubicle was small. A bigger person would likely not fit in, which is disappointing considering the bathroom size.

The bathroom window is large and maneuvring the blindfolds can be confusing.

Separate soap and shampoo could be provided.

It was a very nice experience and if I ever visit Guernsey again I will be back!
Pros:

I liked the very friendly staff, the pool and the downstairs bedroom!
There is a nice garden to have a walk around or sit in.
It is somewhat old fashioned with lots of different rooms for reading or just having a relaxed view of the pool. I really liked that.
If you do not want to eat out you can have a meal in the very friendly, bar/restaurant.
Bus stop is very near to explore the island.

Cons:

The walk from the port to the hotel is uphill🤪
This is a little hike and I could have taken the bus but it is also good exercise🤷🏼‍♀️😂
