Currently the only more upmarket hotel on Ohiya.
Great location if you’re exiting or entering Horton Plains national park.
There is another big hotel under construction nearby and some nice trekker type places.
Lovely views. Good bathroom.

A place with stunning views, delicious food and the best staff in the region. They helped me find a tuk-tuk and a taxi. Highly recommend!

отель замечательный, персонал очень заботливый! сама Охия прекрасна, тихо, спокойно, контрастные леса. Нам очень понравилось, мы немного замедлились и отдохнули. Влюбились в местную собачку. Персонал пообещал позаботиться о ней 🥹

Nice and friendly stuff. That brought us some sweets when we asked. Gave us taxi driver’s number for good price. Packed breakfast for takeaway.

The team is great.Very helpful and efficient.The manager does is best to help the client.The food was very good.

Rooms were modern but also had a warm feel. I liked the design and view from the private balconies and dining area. The bathroom was large and hot. Dilshan Kelly and the staff were super helpful.

Clean room. The size of the room and bad are big. Staff was very friendly and helped with luggage and any other request. They also did an early breakfast in 5 am for us. The view from the room is astonishing even with a foggy weather.

位置很好，从火车站走下来第一家就是他家，另外因为是建在半山腰上，餐厅和房间的视野很好，房间很大。
工作人员非常热情，我们一家来玩的英语都讲的不太好，本来准备坐火车从ohiya到诺沃，洪水导致火车停了正愁不知道怎么办，最后是靠他们家帮忙联系了司机送我们去霍顿公园然后再送去诺沃的。
虽然有点贵，但感觉性价比还是很不错的。

Our stay at Icy Falls Hotel was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely exceptional — endlessly courteous, genuinely kind, and always smiling. Nothing was ever too much trouble. A wonderful group of young lads and girls eagerly helped with our luggage and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Sandun, the manager, made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible showing every courtesy along the way, and adding his own personal touch with getting involved in the games and activities 😊🤗



What truly made the experience special was their warmth and hospitality. We were invited to join in games, from playing Carrom to enjoying a fun game of street cricket 🏏, creating memories filled with laughter and connection 👏🫶😆.



The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with good air conditioning ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel’s location is perfect — just a short distance from Horton Plains, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.



The views from Icy Falls Hotel are absolutely breathtaking. On clear days, the far-reaching scenery is incredible. The hotel does sit within the clouds at times, but this only adds to the magic and atmosphere — certainly no cause for complaint.



The food was absolutely delicious 😋, and all facilities were spotlessly clean and well looked after.



I can recommend Icy Falls Hotel without any hesitation whatsoever. We truly arrived as guests but left as lifelong friends — friendships I will cherish forever ❤️❤️❤️.

Lovely peaceful hotel with amazing view. Perfect location for Horton Plains. All the staff were great! They'll do packed breakfast for your hike too. Sandun and Dimuthu prepared us an incredible vegetarian curry feast for after our hike. And the other boys who sorted breakfast were lovely too. 😀
