awful mean people i would advise to not stay here
Pros:

location was great

Cons:

was not told there were dogs living on the property was promised by the owners that they would be removed i was attacked ad bitten even then the owners promised to take the dogs away when they didnt and i complained they kicked me out terrible terrible people

Convenait bien à nos besoins pour une nuit.
Pros:

Nous avons eu un très bon service une fois entrés, mais la sonnette ne fonctionnait pas et avons dû attendre. Nous n'avions pas de téléphone nous permettant d'appeler au Mexique au numéro inscrit sur la porte. Nous suggérons de faire réparer la sonnette.

Cons:

Peut-être qu'il y a eu des travaux récents car il y avait des odeurs fortes comme de la colle par exemple. Mais le reste était à notre satisfaction

Totally enjoyed
Pros:

Location is good...close to large grocery store and taxi service. Close walk to the beach, about 3-5 minutes. Paula and her staff are super nice and very accommodating. The room was large and comfortable, including the bedrooms, nice to have a kitchenette which has everything you need. Quiet area. The property is very clean. Close walk to the buses. Lots of restaurants in the area. Would stay again.

Cons:

No elevator.

Very disappointed.
Pros:

Exterior architectural details of the building.

Cons:

Outdated, pricey accommodation in need of repair. Half of the tiles in the pool were gone. Leaves, bugs, and plastic garbage floating in it. We didn't use it or see anyone else use it. Owners dogs were laying on the pool loungers and followed us everywhere. Dog poop on the lawn. The suite was on the 3rd floor-stair climbing. The suite looked like it was out of the 80's, my husband thought 70's but there was a sign it was built 1997. Cheap tiles and furniture, plaster on bathroom walls cracked, screens dirty, water pressure poor, only lukewarm water, cheap sandpaper-like toilet paper. Tiny t.v. we couldn't use. There was a hotplate but no lighter. Tried to scramble our eggs in the microwave but bowl was not microwave safe. Owner wasn't up at 9:00 a.m. and didn't answer the phone. We had to wait until she got up later to get a lighter to cook our eggs. Pans were old with scratches in them, handles loose and falling off. No condiments like salt, sugar, oil. Small ants on the floor. Dirty balcony to hand wash clothes and dry in the shade. Paid $357Cdn for one night. Owners are greedy. They should spend money to clean, fix, and update this place. We were very disappointed.

Superb
Pros:

This place is very nice!. The room was a very good size, with a kitchen and living/dining area separate from the sleeping areas. The shower had plenty of hot water - and places to hang towels! It's surprising how many places forget little details like that. In addition, the property owner allowed me to park my motorcycle on the lawn inside the locked entry gate.

Classic Bucerias, helpful host
Pros:

Lovely villa with everything we needed. It is a charming older property, but updated, kept up well and very clean. It's what we love most about Bucerias — classic property, cute pool and outdoor garden kitchen, AC in the bedroom, close walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, and most of all, a fantastic host in Paola. She made sure we had what we needed and helped escort a forgotten suitcase when we left for the airport without it. Suites are best suited for families with a main bedroom and a walkthrough room with two smaller beds. Worked perfect for us.

Cons:

The property next door had their basura spilling out into the street. But no fault of Bungalows Paraiso, which was very clean and tidy.

Very helpful hosts!
Pros:

Hosts were amazing and very helpful. Helped arrange for a taxi to the airport and Paula even brought the luggage we forgot (with a passport in it) at the hotel to the airport so we wouldn’t miss our flight.

Relaxing and pleasant stay.
Pros:

Great location, close to the beach and numerous restaurants, coffee shops and corner stores. Nice pool. Very quiet at night. They have umbrellas and beach chairs that you can bring to the beach. A very beautiful friendly dog lives on the property. Friendly staff. Kitchen with all you need to prepare food. Little balcony with clothesline. We found many good spots to eat very reasonably priced tacos. I recommend the Bici Bucerias Cafe & Bar (right around the corner) Bicycles and food tour with Pepe.

Cons:

The 2 bedrooms in our suite were not separated, you had to walk through the 2nd bedroom. It was okay for my daughters and I, but wouldn't work very well for friends traveling together due to lack of privacy.
This property would have had a beautiful view of the ocean but a huge new building was recently built right in front of it hiding most of the view. Thankfully there was not too much noise from the construction that seems to be almost completed. Seems a little expensive but everything is quite expensive in Bucerias. A lot of construction going on.

Pros:

The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place.

Not as nice as the pictures. Totally grossed out by the fleas.

Good location. Fridndly staff.

Cons:

There were fleas all over the master bed. We didn’t realize until the next morning. I saw multiple on me and had multiple bites on my ankles. I reached out to the hotel to complain with no response. They have two dogs that roam the property and came in the suite.
