Jederzeit wieder.
Pros:

Sehr liebevoll eingeeichtet. Grosses Zimmer mit separatem Badezimmer. Das Personal ist erwähnenswer freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Ich hatte sofort das Gefühl dort zuhause zu sein und wurde behandelt wie ein Freund. Ich kann das Mitengo House wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Herzlichen Dank

Splendid!
Pros:

Mitengo House is a spectacular place that perfectly encapsulates and radiates Malawi's natural beauty – photos do not do this boutique hotel justice, but its name, meaning "trees," certainly does.

During my short stay, I enjoyed the delicious chambo fish with tomato sauce and rice. The charming waiter, Peter, shared that the locals mix the tomato sauce with rice, although, in my sheer ignorance, I did not. Maybe next time.

Lastly, I’m forever grateful to Tasmim for fetching my laptop when I forgetfully left it at the front desk. Smiling Alinafe was equally helpful in settling my bills when I checked out the next day.

I’ll recommend Mitengo House to anyone who cares about nature and appreciates feeling at home.

The location, the staff, and the restaurant and lobby area are all noteworthy aspects.

Cons:

Room amenities; lights off frequently, and even though they say there's a backup generator, it is not automatic, and only the lights are working. There is no charging, and in my room, the Wi-Fi is not working during light cutoffs. DStv is not working, and the AC is not working properly. It's too costly, but less service is provided compared to other hotels in the town. My room quality was below par compared to the price I paid.
