Wonderful stay! Perfect location with a great view, and amazing care from Svetlana. The room was very clean and spacious. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay in magical Ohrid!
Our host was absolutely wonderful - so friendly, generous, helpful, attentive and easy to communicate with.
A special homemade tea was made and left for my partner who was unwell for when we arrived - this was SO generous and the tea was effective!
The room was beautiful and comfortable with an incredible view from the spacious balcony, and the bathroom was to a very high standard with a strong shower and lovely shower gel and shampoo.
The breakfast was served in the fantastic restaurant very nearby and we had a fabulous day at the lake where we had completely complimentary access to sun loungers, paddle boards, kayaks and inflatables, and a self-service drinks hut with an honesty box.
This was a very special stay.
The air con was a bit rattly but I sleep with earplugs so I was fine, and it didn't bother my partner who doesn't :)
The view was amazing especially at night seeing the old town sparkling lights over the lake. Svetlana went above and beyond helping us. She arranged a driver to pick us up from Skopje and bring us to Bitola. She arranged boat tour and a walking tour with Zoran who was a wealth of information on Ochrid’s ancient history.

Tolle Unterkunft - modern, sauber und eine schöne Lage in Ohrid. Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier, es hätte aber durchaus länger sein dürfen. Parkplatz inklusive, top! Insgesamt alles prima - nette Gastgeberin! :)

Neuklízí se každý den. Protože hotel nenabízí snídaně a v nejbližším okolí je nemají v nabídce ani restaurace, je nutné nakoupit si je v samoobsluze a pekárně. Snídaně na terase má své kouzlo, ale na pokoji se hromadí odpad, který nikdo neodnáší. Doporučujeme na pokoj dát talíře a příbory.
Our host, Svetlana, was extraordinarily accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. We felt at home at Villa Sofija. The view over the lake and the Old Town was simply fantastic! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying here.

Very clean very tidy and plenty of room, we made a stuff up with the booking and they accomodated us to a larger room free of charge svetlana was a fantastic host who gave us fantastic recommendations for eating and activities to show our friend the macedonian way
