No fuss option near to the centre of town.
Pros:

A good breakfast selection of hot and cold options. The coffee machine was permanently on, so you could grab a drink at any time. The weekend staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to check in after arriving late (after midnight) due to the access code I was sent. The hotel was a 10 min stroll from the centre of town.

Cons:

The room was very small and cramped. The bed consisted of a mattress topper on a base (which may have been a folded couch). The topper tended to move around as I slept. There was a single pillow and no headboard, with the end of the bed against the window sill. The room was at the front of the hotel and the road outside was rather noisy, although there were ear plugs provided. I chose to sleep with the window open. The room was moderately clean although there was quite a lot of fluff under the bed.

Pros:

The room design was wonderful. I enjoyed taking a shower and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Room temperature was too low when we arrived. The room was super cold. I took a long time to understand how he heating tablet worked, but I managed to get the desired temperature.

Charmantes Hotel, zentral gelegen für alle Ausflüge
Pros:

Die Lage vom Hotel ist hervorragend. Man ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuss an der Promenade oder in 2 Minuten in der Fussgängerzone. Das Personal im Hotel war freundlich, aber sehr zurückhaltend. Die Zimmer haben ihren eigenen und sehr persönlichen Stil, was nicht jedermanns Sache sein wird. Zudem müssen sehr steile Treppen bewältigt werden, um in die Zimmer zu gelangen. Auch nicht jedermanns Fall! Uns hat es jedoch trotzdem total gut gefallen! Das hat irgendwie seinen eigenen Charme und ist vor allem typisch Niederlande und damit sehr gemütlich.
Das Frühstück war prima. Alles da, was man braucht. Nicht luxoriös, aber doch sehr umfangreich. Kaffeeautomat mit verschiedenen Kaffees und Schokolade, Milch, Saft, Kornflaggs, Müsli, Obst, Joghurt, Rührei, diverse Marmeladen, Brötchen, Brot, diverse Wurst- und Käsesorten, sowie Gebäck war vorhanden. Reicht vollkommen aus!
Die Stadt selbst hat mit Promenade, Hafen und Innenstadt jede Menge für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt zu bieten! Hier gibt es viele sehenswerte Ecken und tolle Restaurants und Cafes zum Verweilen.

Cons:

Einige Zimmer liegen zur Strasse. Wer also mit offenem Fenster schläft und sich schnell gestört fühlt, wird hier vielleicht nicht glücklich. Zumal auch die Busse ins Umland fast direkt vor der Türe halten und schon ab morgens fahren (eigentlich ein guter Umstand!).

Pros:

Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf ein schönes großes Zimmer mit Balkon. Minibar mit Getränken im Zimmer , gutes Frühstück. Parken konnte man relativ günstig im Parkhaus gegenüber. Sehr nettes Personal. Alles perfekt für einen Zwischenstopp.
