The countryside setting on a golf course is lovely. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. We especially appreciated the separate selection for guests with dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, lactose-free, and no-added-sugar options.
The property feels somewhat tired and could use a refresh. It was a warm day, and the first room we were assigned on an upper floor was uncomfortably hot and stuffy. We discussed the problem with a very helpful woman at reception, who spent considerable time trying to resolve it. However, the cooling system, like much of the room, seemed dated and may simply not have been powerful enough to cool an upper-floor room.
We eventually requested a different room, and she found us one on the ground floor of another building. It was much more comfortable and, although still somewhat dated, noticeably nicer. It appears that some rooms may be larger and better than others.
The on-site restaurant was offering only an expensive fixed-price menu with one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert. That did not appeal to us because we prefer to have a range of choices when dining out. Instead, we took the public bus into Rimbo for dinner. The bus stop is directly in front of the hotel, and service runs at least hourly, possibly more often on weekdays. It was easy and convenient. We used the SL app to buy our tickets, and a senior discount was available.

Personalen var supertrevlig, och frukosten var väldigt god.
Det var otroligt varmt i rummet när jag kom dit. Det var först när jag kom dit som jag fick veta att stället tar 300 kronor extra för att man har hund med sig. Golvet var nedfläckat med något som spillts där, och det var snus i papperskorgen. Annars var rummet helt OK. Att man har TV på rummet är väl kanske att ta i då det endast finns två markbundna kanaler att titta på, inget man kanske behöver skryta om.
Frukosten var toppen.
När vi var där var det ca 20 grader ute dagtid och 10 grader på natten. Vi stängde därför fönstret som var öppet när vi anlände mitt i natten. Under tidig morgon vaknade vi av att det var oerhört varmt i rummet och ingen ventilation alls.

Spat hade trasiga duschar, bastun var inte på. Pool ute inget trappsteg ner , svårt att ta sig i den ena poolen. Vattnet i den luktade illa. bar stängd okunnig personal. Tog inte swish eller nota på rummet, då fick vi avstå förtäring
Extremely pretty. Felt as if the My Little Pony Estate from my childhood came to life. Most beautiful indoor pool I've been in.
Not really near much of anything outside of the estate, which is really only a problem if you're hungry when the restaurant isn't open. However, the food is worth waiting for.
