Einzig positive: stadtnah. Alles andere muss man sich schönreden.
Pros:

Netter Hotelbesitzer, der auch gleichzeitig die Reinigung der Zimmer übernimmt. Vor der Tür eine halbe Stunde gewartet, bis der Vermieter geöffnet hat. Stadtnah. Kein Frühstücksangebot. Keine Parkplätze, lediglich Patkhus in der Nähe für 30€ täglich.

Cons:

Haus/Zimmer marode und stark sanierungsbedürftig. Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, schmale und steile Treppen. Bei den Gesprächen unserer Zimmernachbarn hätte ich mitdiskutieren können in normaler Zimmerlautstärke. Habe über 100€ pro Nacht gezahlt, 50€ wären auch schon gutes Geld gewesen… meine Tochter wollte sofort wieder nach Hause fahren, nachdem sie das Zimmer gesehen hat. Toiletten und Dusche sind gut fotografiert, für stabilere Menschen ist es zu eng.

I stayed here for three days in Amsterdam as a solo traveler, and the experience exceeded my expectations for a one-star hotel.

The room was clean and maintained to a good standard, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

The location is excellent—within walking distance of Amsterdam Central, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and attractions around the city.

The receptionist was very helpful and made the stay even smoother with their support and friendliness.

Overall, a great value stay in a very convenient location, especially for solo travelers.

Cest bien on est au centre mais c’est pas un hôtel qu’on reviendra et qu’on conseillera

Le lit été confortable

Cons:

Le fait que les douche et les toilettes sont commun et aussi les draps sont pas très propre il y avait beaucoup de marque ou de cheveux de poussière aussi le mur était aussi fin qu’on entendait tout dehors et à l’intérieur

Géographie conforme, chambre proche du centre.
Les douches et toilettes communs étaient propres.

Cons:

Chambre non conforme à la description.
Chambre indiquée pour 2 sur le plan d'évacuation alors que nous avions 3 lits.
Sur l'annonce il était indiqué un lit double et un lit simple, nous avons eu un lit superposé sans échelle ni protection et un lit simple.
La fenêtre donnait directement sur le mur.
La nuit un bruit strident et constant nous empêchait de dormir.
Étant collés à la réception nous entendions le réceptionniste parler très fort au téléphone.
Nous avons retrouvé une araigné ainsi que sa toile dans la chambre.
Chambre plus petite prévu

Pros:

La ubicacion es lo mejor muy cerca de la estacion Central, te permite facil acceso caminado a todos los punto, precio / calidad muy bien, es algo común lo de las escaleras empinadas y angostas(en mi caso no afectó) estan en la mayoría de los alojamientos, el baño compartido no fue un problema siempre limpio y disponible.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Schroder.
Pros:

If you need a cheap hotel in a prime location this is an excellent option, particularly if you're travelling alone. All I needed was the basics and this was the cheapest hotel near the Haarlemerstraat area. Bed was comfy, heating was adjustable and I had my privacy for all 4 nights. Shared bathroom but that's understadable for the cost. Hotel owner was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Thin walls, you can hear your neighbours clearly. Some damp on the wall behind the bed. No smoking area.
