Royal Plaza Hotel Amsterdam

540 Eur für 3 Nächte in einem 9m2 Zimmer, praktisch ohne Fenster. Denn 50cm vom Fenster entfernt war eine Mauer. Der Hotelbesitzer hat einfach eine Fototapete auf die Mauer geklebt, damit man nicht auf ein grau schaut, sondern auf eine kitschige Tapete. Zwischen Fenster und Fototapete auf der Mauer waren Rohre, und Zigarettenstummel und Müll. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. im Zimmer waren 2 schmale Einzelbetten mit einem grausigen Nachttisch dazwischen. Breiter war das Zimmer nicht. Es gab noch ein paar Garderobenhaken, keinen Kasten. In der Dusche musste man alle 50 Sekunden mit den Händen winken, damit das Licht wieder angeht, sonst stand man im Dunkeln. Eigentlich hatte ich Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht. Es wurde aber nie ein Frühstück erwähnt, hätte auch nicht gewusst wann und wo ? Ich habe aber auch nicht nachgefragt, weil es mir in diesem Haus gegraust hätte. Der Eingang, die Rezeption, alles SEHR schmuddelig. Es ist wirklich schwer in Amsterdam ein günstiges Zimmer zu bekommen, vor allem wenn Harry Styles in der Stadt ist. Aber lieber mehr ausgeben, als 540 eur so in den Sand zu setzen. Mir tut es um jeden Cent leid.

Las piezas son muy pequeñas junto con el baño (arrendé una habitación con 2 camas individuales).
La ducha tiene el mismo suelo que el resto del baño, se moja todo el piso cuando uno se está duchando.
Las camas individuales son pequeñas, casi menor que 1 plaza cada una.
El hall de ingreso, muy oscuro, descuidado, desordenado y lo peor es que siempre con olor a cigarro potente en todas partes, hall, ascensor, escaleras y hall entre habitaciones, aunque dicen que está prohibido fumar es impresionante el olor a cigarro que tienen (a veces entraba el olor por el extractor de aire del baño hacia la habitación).
No recomiendo quedarse en este hotel, si bien la ubicación es buena, puedes encontrar algo mucho mejor.

Es war dreckig, laut und die Zimmer sehr klein. Alles im Kühlschrank war gefroren. Sehr ringhörig. Das Personal ist nett aber sehr gleichgültig.

The location and room cleanliness was important and both boxes were ticked. There was nothing that was a problem for us.

La habitacion es bastante chica, las camas incomodas y la vista era una pared pintada, el sector de la ducha del baño no tiene cortina o mampara y tampoco en el suelo un borde para que el agua este retenida, ademas la luz es por movimiento con lo cual cada tanto tiempo si no hacia un movimiento exagerado se apagaba.

Està situat a un carrer amb bars on hi ha molt soroll, les habitacions són extremadament petites i no estàn súper netes. La relació qualitat-preu és abusiva.

The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the smell of drains was sometimes strong; the light was permanently on. The aircon control was missing so there was no fan (grim on the 4th floor in 25 degrees of heat). The din from the street was awful at night: the location was otherwise convenient. The amenities in the room were very basic – no shelves, no stand for a case, no kettle, no fridge. The free coffee machine in the lobby was out of action the only time I tried it. I paid more than £200 per night for this.
