Best place to stay in Huarez!
Pros:

Breakfast options were great (incl fresh fruit, avocado, sweet treats, eggs etc). Free tea throughout your stay from lobby. Room pictures on booking.com really don’t do it justice as it’s much nicer in person (we were a bit sceptical before arriving but ended up staying 5 nights in total to acclimatise in the area). Friendly staff and easy to organise taxis etc.

Beautiful and friendly hotel in a perfect location.
Pros:

What a gem of a hotel in a quiet area of Huaraz, yet close enough to the city center to easily walk in 10 minutes. The entire staff was superb. Great customer service, always aiming to please. The hotel is modern, very clean, breakfast was great, the room spacious, shower hot with plentiful water pressure. We stayed here 7 days prior to our Huayhuash trek while acclimating to the altitude, then 1 day after. We would definitely choose Hotel Cordillera again!

Cons:

My only complaint was both stays the remote for the TV was missing in the room. When enquiring about the remote, we were given a remote for another room, but it wasn’t synced to our TV. The first stay we finally received the correct remote, the second stay we gave up.
