The room is okay, the location is okay, breakfast is okay. Okay. The staff is excellent.

Cons:

The shower is not suitable for adults and there is no Hand shower and it's a straw without it. The room is quite old but okay.

The wellcome package was very nice.
The hotel was clean, good location, nice pool, well equipped room. We really like the high floor location.

Cons:

breakfast could have more variety and better coffee. It could be one more room key.

A classic hotel with excellent staff on the south-east of Chiang Mai with easy parking.
Pros:

The staff are the best and they welcomes us with a big bag of mixed food items. Some rooms are recently refurbished and others are not. The hotel has an old-worldy feeling as it has been there for many years, one of the first big hotels in Chiang Mai. I never had breakfast at the hotel so can't comment. We did attend the Christmas dinner and that was very nice overall with an invited school choir singing Christmas carols.

Cons:

It was a pity we couldn't use the pool of the adjacent Empress sister hotel.
