Hôtel décoré avec soin, bel endroit chargé d'histoire, petit déjeuner excellent, belles prestations. L’equipe est chalheureuse et bienveillante.
Tout petit bémol : une personne seule le matin pour assurer les arrivées et check out n’est pas suffisante.
We arrived much earlier than check in and that wasn't a problem, we could use the facilities, and they came to find us when our room was ready early. Very friendly and accommodating.

Le site est majestueux dans les plaines vallonnées au dessus de Faro.
La partie hébergement est une extension moderne qui s'intègre complétement dans le site historique sans le dénaturer.
Grande piscine extérieure très agréable. Le petit déjeuner autour d'un buffet richement garni et savoureux.
The hotel has a nicely relaxed sophisticated ambience. The location is great, being within easy reach of Faro and Loule (well worth a visit, particularly on a market morning). The building itself is quirky and charming. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The pool is a bit too shallow.
The mattresses were too firm for our liking.
The breakfasts could have done with an egg station.
But these are minor quibbles.
We found the hotel to be tranquil and unpretentious with the most stunning view. On check in we were surprised to find that our rooms had been upgraded. A special mention goes to the staff in the bars and restaurant-they were all so friendly, humble and helpful (despite the language barrier). We loved the contrast of the palacio and the ultra modern hotel rooms. The pool area is fabulous-so peaceful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing so much choice that we didn’t know where to start! We would love to return.
We had to check out early (3am) and it took 15 minutes for a staff member to appear. It would have been nice to have had some breakfast items offered to take with us as breakfast was included in our room rate.

Loved the palace part with it’s authenticity and the hotel part with it’s modern art museum design 😍 The staff was warm, helpful and professional 👌 I’m so thankful for such unique places and experiences ❤️
