Cons:

I would not recommend staying at Veraclub Sunset Beach. The overall experience was very disappointing. The food was bad — very limited choice and poor quality. The conditions of the hotel are far from what you expect: rooms are not well maintained, and there are a lot of insects everywhere, which made the stay uncomfortable. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, which only added to the negative experience. Even basic amenities are missing — there isn’t even a kettle in the room. Definitely not worth the price.

Nice stay at Veraclub Sunset Beach
Pros:

The place is pleasant and welcoming, and the views from your cabin are very beautiful.
The beach surrounding the hotel is very scenic.

Cons:

- Place exclusively for Italians.
- The internet speed is not very good.
- The bathroom has absolutely nothing, not even a shower head or a place to put your shampoo.
- The breakfast buffet is very poor.
- The buffet costs $25 and is not worth it.
- The beach towels they gave us were very dirty.
- The locals around the beach are constantly trying to sell you something, which is understandable but can be a bit annoying.

Our stay at Veraclub Sunset Hotel in Nungwi was absolutely amazing! The hotel is impeccably clean, offering a stunning view of the sunset that you won’t forget. The food is delicious and of excellent quality – truly a culinary delight.

The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The management clearly runs the hotel with care and professionalism.

There’s nothing negative to say about our experience – it was worth every penny. In fact, we regret not opting for the all-inclusive package. We had chosen the breakfast-only option, but given the quality and variety of the food, I would highly recommend going for the all-inclusive package instead.

Lastly, the Wi-Fi was reliable, making our stay even more comfortable. This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Nungwi!

Amazing, friendly staff as well as great facilities and location
Pros:

The food was amazing and buffet style so there was a massive variety to choose from and the staff and cooks were super accommodating and lovely. They had a range of activities through the hotel that staff helped plan and talked you through. The manager and front desk staff were so helpful with organising a special dinner as well as transport for our numerous activities, the room and bathroom were spacious with a beautiful view. Overall such a lovely stay for our holiday and the facilities such as the pool, bar and outdoor lounges exceeded our expectations. Big thank you to all the kind staff for making our stay so amazing

Unfriendly hotel with bed bugs. Do not recommend !!!
Pros:

The hotel is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach in Nungwi and there was always a lounger available.
The rooms are large with ample cupboard space and a safe. The bathrooms need a little maintenance but it was sufficient.
Standout for us was one staff members at breakfast Armandino, who was the friendliest person at the hotel and makes the best omelettes.

Cons:

Unfriendly receptionist and staff. Eaten alive by bed bugs (received a professional opinion when I got home).
All entertainment is in Italian, and we were treated like foreigners and made to feel unwelcome. All guests should receive the same treatment ... it doesn't matter where you come from or which language you speak.
We got married on the beach in front of the hotel and didn't even acknowledge us. Before the wedding they would not allow our wedding coordinator on the property even after getting permission beforehand.
I since have edited my review because of the response from Veraclub Team ... if we had contacted them they would've sorted out our problem. We were only there for 4 nights and when we asked for management we were ignored. The receptionist was so unfriendly, so unwilling, refused to assist us, refused to call management and refused to speak to us in English. When we pointed out the bed bug bites to the cleaner she just laughed and shrugged her shoulders, also struggling to communicate. Staying at Veraclub Sunset Beach Hotel was probably the worst hotel experience of my life !!

A nice resort, well located and with the great management.
Pros:

Breakfast was good and tasty. The grounds of the hotel are very pretty and well taken care off.
Manager Marco is very professional, wellcoming, friendly and helpfull.
The resort provides a great rest.

Pros:

The Location was great and love the Breakfast.
All of the facilities we great and we really enjoyed the beach that was right there.
The pool was really nice and was great that they had ping pong and beach tennis to play.

Cons:

Sometimes in the morning after breakfast we would love to chill by the pool and read a book or have a swim But they were playing very loud music that was not nice at all.
We are also not italian so we felt left out when the staff always talked to and invited other guest to activities but never us.

A great location in Nungwi, not great for honeymooners who want to unwind.
Pros:

The Sports, pool and deck chairs where great. The staff where very nice. Great location for dinning out in evening with some lovely restaurants and beach bars within a close stroll along the beach.

Cons:

Every beverage including coffee through out the stay was charged, all inclusive or not. Our room was also very loud at night from the dinning/social hall, one night music was played loud until 2am in the morning. We were then woke by leavers/workers at 5am for a continual hour the following morning.
Every hotel we stayed in through out our stay in zanzibar made a special effort for our honeymoon, this one did not unfortunately.
