My stay at Asmara Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for.
The staff were outstanding—warm, professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made me feel at home throughout my stay.
The room was spacious, spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and I appreciated the attention to detail. The bed was comfortable, the facilities were modern, and everything worked perfectly.
The hotel's location is another great advantage, with easy access to shopping areas, restaurants, and the university, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety of fresh and well-prepared food to start the day.
What truly made this hotel special, however, was the atmosphere. It combines comfort, elegance, and genuine Zambian hospitality in a way that makes guests feel valued rather than just accommodated.
As a visiting academic from Greece, I spent several days in Lusaka, and choosing Asmara Hotel was one of the best decisions of my trip. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lusaka, whether for business or tourism.
Thank you to the entire Asmara Hotel team for making my stay such a wonderful and memorable experience!
My room was near the cleaning staff's room and I had to wake up every morning at 5-6 o'clock with the staff. They made a lot of noise in the corridor.
Clean, quiet and comfortable with a nice breakfast and great staff.
Nothing I can think of
Location & comfort
No lift
Friendly and efficient service
Aircon inefficient/ barely working
Le petit déj était correct.
Il faisait extrêmement froid dans la chambre
I don't have problems related to the hotel.
I really appreciate for everything what can offer to me.
Overall service it's excellent.
Im traveling to the region for many years already and sometimes twice a year.
Breakfast restaurant.
This is my only concerns or complaints I had, they over charge Breakfast for not reason when they new in the front desk someone else would stay overnight.
I wouldn't expected the next morning specially when he went there and his name wasn't there.
Also he was my driver from Kitwe to Lusaka.
I hope the change over near future.
Thanks
Sincerely
George
Value for money, great location next to a shopping complex
The hotel staff are friendly.
They should ensure bed covers are clean, and the bathroom should not have any used items from previous guests; I found a used toothbrush in the bathroom cabinet. Most importantly, they should consider halal food for their Muslim guests; at least they can buy their chickens and beef from halal-certified sources.
Staff were nice
Wifi was terrible. Consider getting access points.
Clean
The hotel is in a good and quiet location and also close to shopping malls. Very clean and nice food
Their coffee maker was not working and I’m not a fan of instant coffee. I like filter coffee.
