The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. That’s all I really needed!
Pros:

Location worked for me, staff was pleasant and helpful

Cons:

They were repainting stripes for parking and did not block off the only area I could pull into - so I ended up with paint on right side tires. The manager had staff try to remove the paint (didn’t work as I needed to leave for a meeting). He subsequently gave me his card, said if the paint didn’t wear off o could have the car detailed and he would cover the cost. Fortunately the paint did wear off after my long drive home. I appreciated the way he took responsibility and offered to reimburse me.

Only other comment was the AC wasn’t very powerful but the room temperature was still comfortable. Might need a newer AC unit.

Loved it! I wouldstay again.
Pros:

This lodge is very well cared for. It is clean and the staff are friendly. It does not look like much from the road. The price is terrific. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the fridge was a great added bonus. I felt safe there.

Cons:

There is coffee in the lobby. It would be nice to be able to make coffee in the room.

Very nice staff, it was what I needed a bed to sleep on for the night.
Pros:

The room was very clean. They were kind not to charge me a non smoking room fee.

Cons:

It did not look like its picture, there wasn’t a view the water and it is on the older side

Disgusting, and cigarette smoking smell, mildew smells, etc !!!!
The room, and Bathroom are very small!
I had to run across the street to the CVS to buy Ant and Roach Spray, there were flying insects in the room, alongside dusty cobwebs !!!!

This property was filthy and horrendous!!!! There was BLOOD all over our room- on the walls, on the lampshade... just absolutely horrible conditions and the staff

Pros:

Decided to go to Salem last minute in October and this was one of the last rooms left even remotely nearby and a reasonable price. While I do think it was overpriced for what it was, I understand it's an extremely busy time of year in this area. It was comfortable, clean, a convenient train ride to Boston & Salem, and the staff was friendly. Would book again!
