Pros:

Located close to port and shore. Ok for short stay. Confirm addtl tourist tax on booking.... is not a daily rate.

Cons:

Denis und das Personal waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft ist direkt am Strand. Ich konnte jedoch nicht ins Meer. Zu viel Müll, das Meer zu schmutzig und zu viele Einheimische ( Muslims).

Pros:

Everything was exactly as described and reached our expectations. It's a friendly place where you will have diner with other guests and Dennis the owner, who is also very welcoming. He also helps organize activities around the island, only work with locals and cook very good fish from the fish market 50m from the lodge!

Acceptable per la poca oferta de l’illa
Pros:

És un dels pocs allotjaments econòmics de l’illa, molt a prop del ferry i davant del mar.
S’hi ofereix sopar (no hi ha oferta de restauració a prop) que era bo. També s’hi ofereixen tours per l’illa.
El personal és flexible i amable.

Cons:

Les instal·lacions requereixen manteniment.
El sopar era bo però car, 10$ per persona.
Un cop allà no hi ha més oferta de tours per l’illa que els que ofereix el Denis. Si voleu negociar una millor oferta recomanaria buscar alternatives anteriorment.

good for simple and budget traveling - maybe bring some snacks to the island
Pros:

super Lage in nähe zum Fährhafen und schönem Blick auf das Meer. Der Vermieter organisiert für einen Ausflüge, Transfer oder ein Motorrad. Essen schmeckt gut und es gibt kostenfrei Kaffee, Wasser und Tee. Allgemein kommt man viel mit den anderen Gästen in Kontakt und kann auch gemeinsame Ausflüge machen.

Cons:

Vieles der Ausstattung ist schon älter und funktioniert immer mal wieder nicht richtig (Klimaanlage, Toilette, Warmwasser). Zudem ist das Essen leider nicht abwechslungsreich und auch teuer (10 Dollar). Im Ort gibt es ein Hotel mit Restaurant oder Straßenstände bzw. lokale Restaurants, bei denen man für wenig Geld etwas zu Essen bekommt.

Un ottimo approdo Pemba
Pros:

La struttura è ben organizzata e si inserisce per prettamente nel contesto comunitario e sociale locale. Inoltre, la struttura é pulita ed é gestita da uno staff cordiale e disponibile. Dennis prepara ottime cene a base di pesce fresco accompagnate da delizioso succo al tamarindo. Inoltre, la struttura é frequentata da viaggiatore abituati all'avventura, quindi é facile conoscere persone interessanti con cui condividere il proprio viaggio e le escursioni quotidiane con organizza la struttura.

Cons:

Il clima all'interno dello staff non é sempre ideale.

A great stay with wonderful trips
Pros:

If you want to experience the real Pemba Lala Lodge is the place to be!It has great views over the harbour of Mkoani. Every morning fishermen bring in their catch right in front of the lodge. Dennis the owner arranged a great snorkelling trip to Misali and a really beautiful trip to the blue lagoon for us for e reasonable price. He has a lot of knowledge about the island and will gladly help you with any other plans. Lala lodge is a simple accommodation it offers great value for money

La disponibilità del proprietario, quando ha saputo che mi piacciono i calamari si è impegnato moltissimo per prepararli a cena.
La struttura sulla spiaggia, la terrazza, i tramonti e la tranquillità
Quello che era stabilito ci è stato dato e non è banale in questi posti

Cons:

La pulizia è ok ma per i loro standard.
Qualcosa andrebbe sistemato nelle camere, ma ha in progetto di ristrutturare

A fuir! Arnaque sur le prix qui est majoré par rapport au prix Booking! Cela ne vaut pas ce prix !
Pros:

L’emplacement est bien pour ceux qui souhaitent faire une excursion à Misali mais la plage à proximité n’est pas adaptée pour de la farniente. D’autres hôtels dans le bourg moins chers et avec un meilleur standing

Cons:

Le prix indiqué par Booking est très largement majoré par le propriétaire par une soit disant City tax (que personne ne connaît et qui n’est demandée par personne). Au total, la chambre ne vaut pas du tout ce prix! Chambre sale qui sent très fort l’humidité, eau chaude compliquée à obtenir, pas de ménage chaque jour (alors qu’il y a beaucoup de sable à l’entrée).
Le dîner a 10 usd ne vaut absolument pas ce prix (quelques frites et un minuscule morceau de poisson).

Pros:

The best part about this stay is the host Dennis. He makes you feel at home. His wife cooks amazing food. He looks after you. He makes his place feel like home. His restaurant deck is a phenomenal place to chill out, eat amazing food and have amazing views of the ocean all while meeting travelers usually of the same mindset.

Cons:

The bed was a little hard. But some may prefer this. Power goes out but it's Africa so no real complaints. If you are looking for a fancy accommodation and need for an example a hair dryer and all the luxuries this may not be for you lol. But overall it was one of our best experiences in Africa on a month tour.

Superb
Pros:

Down to earth venue, budget lodge but the bed was good and clean. Great communal area overlooking the ocean, decent food and amazing atmosphere. Owner goes a long way to help you organizing your stay. I really enjoyed staying here.

Cons:

Bathroom was functional but could use a make over.

Discovering Pemba
Pros:

The location is amazing!
The owner is full of ideas about activities on the island (hidden gems included) and can organize everything.
The best food on Pemba!!!
I felt like vip and local at the same time which made me fall in love with Pemba.

Cons:

No complaints.
