Einfach Hervorragend!!
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut!
Der direkte Strandabschnitt des Hotels war Hervorragend.
Die Besitzerinnen sowie das Personal waren rund um die Uhr für die Gäste da - es war sehr familiär.
Zusammenfassend war es ein sehr gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub.

Cons:

Nach längerem Aufenthalt wirkt das Frühstück etwas monoton was aber nicht wirklich schlimm ist fußläufig sind viele Cafés innerhalb 5 Minuten erreichbar.

Safe, clean and chic
Pros:

It is clean, beautifully decorated, safe and lovely. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They did their best.

Cons:

Nothing. One specific thing that can be improved for me is the coffee in the breakfast :) It’s okay, but it can be better in terms of taste and intensity.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach ein absoluter Traum! Schon bei der Ankunft fühlt man sich sofort wie im perfekten Traumurlaub. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, die Zimmer sind makellos sauber und die gesamte Anlage strahlt eine angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre aus.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal: So freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit wird man wirklich nur selten empfangen. Das gesamte Team hat unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht und war jederzeit aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Ich habe in meinen Urlauben nur selten ein so außergewöhnlich freundliches und engagiertes Personal erlebt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt von 2 auf 8 Tagen verlängert!

Fijne locatie, ontzettend mooi!
Pros:

Heerlijke locatie direct aan prachtig strand. Wordt ontzettend goed onderhouden en schoon gehouden. Elke dag harken ze het zand, zie je tuinmannen en schoonmakers bezig. Zwembad is heerlijk en lekkere cocktails! Ontbijt kan je elke dag van de kaart kiezen.

Cons:

Het bed om de kamer is mega groot, maar wel heel erg hard met springveren ( moet je van houden). I.v.m. de muggen miste we de klamboe

Unser Aufenthalt im Maisha Matamu war einfach traumhaft. Dieses kleine, liebevoll geführte Boutique-Hotel liegt direkt an einem wunderschönen Strand und ist ein echter Geheimtipp auf Sansibar.

Besonders begeistert hat uns die herzliche Atmosphäre. Das gesamte Team ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch die Gastgeber selbst waren präsent, unglaublich herzlich und haben sich mit viel persönlichem Engagement um ihre Gäste gekümmert. Wir haben uns nicht wie Gäste, sondern wie Freunde gefühlt – genau dieses Gefühl hat unseren Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht.

Auch das Essen war hervorragend. Alles war frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Fischplatte können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen – ein absolutes Highlight!

Für uns war das Maisha Matamu ein kleines Paradies. Wer Ruhe, Gastfreundschaft und einen traumhaften Strand sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Boutique-Hotel von Herzen empfehlen. 10/10!

Terrible hotel! Only good on the insta pictures

The hotel is right on the beach, and it’s well situated in Paje. It’s also very pretty, despite the fact that nothing works (the shower constantly overflowing, the ventilator not properly installed, the curtains falling—with the windows not being privacy friendly).

Cons:

I would like to preface this by saying we were robbed in this hotel. This was an extremely unfortunate experience that the hotel refused to acknowledge and take responsibility for. Adding to this, the service is absolutely terrible compared to other wonderful hotels in Zanzibar. Our check in date was not registered properly and we got almost thrown out by the hotel at night during check in, just to be bothered the next morning at a crazy hour asking to pay our room (which we had done and had proof of). Half of the items on the menu (which are not seasonal) weren’t available, and it could take up to an hour for us to get breakfast (and receive it cold). As someone that has worked in the hotel industry in Africa for a very long time, this has to be my most deceptive stay.

Alles! War eines meiner besten Urlaube.
Erste Reihe zum indischen Ozean! Ich habe mir ein Traum erfüllt.
Hotel war sehr sauber, James - der manager einfach ein Herzchen. Alle waren so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Check in bis Check out war es eine 1000 für mich.
Unbedingt hier im Restaurant essen! Sehr sehr lecker! Zimmer groß und luxuriös, Pool ist clean und Mitarbeiter immer freundlich.
Danke für alles Maisha Team. Ich werde wieder kommen.

Im Großen und Ganzen sehr empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Sehr leckeres Essen zu sehr guten Preisen, welches man mit Blick auf das Meer genießen kann. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit bequemen Bett und sehr guter Klimaanlage.
Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal kümmern sich um einen. Sauberer Pool und gepflegte Anlage mit top Lage.
