The staff were really welcoming and supportive. The rooms were a bit tired, but adequate

-2 nights, 2times no electricity, second night, no water, internet is very slow, the price i have to add 69000 on top of original price 130000, which i hope it reflects a good service, no ac, no tv
It started raining and water was flowing into the room wetting the bed windows don’t lock! Shower heads are discolored! No glass on the window in the bathroom.
Needs a lot to of improvement!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is also good, just outside the bustling city center of Mbale. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of choice. Rooms were nicely decorated and well-kept.
There were a few power outages, but that goes beyond the hotel's influence.
Richard (Richard) is a top host! I wanted to see a Ugandese band. He went with me personally. Besides that, wonderful man, struggling to give his guests the best experience. His personal, especially Rachel, is very sweet and caring. If you are interested in the personal touch and connection, best place in town, especially for this price!

Loved the African Tea and Pancakes for breakfast! The hosts are very nice and helpful. Whenever we spend a weekend in Mbale we stayed with them :) enjoyed the hot shower a lot!
The customer service was awesome and the breakfast was on point.
The price on booking.com turned out different from the actual price by almost 30%. So I paid 30% more than I had anticipated.
Everyone at the hotel was very nice, along with the food as well. People were accommodating and the hostel is in a good area

The manager tries hard to run this no-frills hotel, but it's a struggle.
The location is ok, and it's cheap. Manager is helpful. Decent bedding.
The food is not great; the staff - when the manager is not around - is nowhere to be found (had to take the first breakfast out as no one was in the kitchen at 7.20 am) They cannot do basic operations (had to literally operate the card machine to pay my own bill on check out). Toilet paper not refilled, wifi jumping all the time, overcharged on laundry. Walls are super thin and you will hear people below like they are inside the room.
I understand it's a $20 hotel per night but still, can still be decent which was not the case.
