Pros:

Amazing location. Right next to the bern bears. Lovely walks in surrounding area, and lovely to be right next to river Aare. It feels more like a home than a hotel.

Cons:

you get occasional noise with other guests staying but nothing too loud. The room could’ve done with a bit more of a deeper clean, with there being dust on the windows and radiators etc.

Mit liebe eingerichtetes kleines Hotel. Hat alles, was es braucht, sogar eine kleine Gartenwirtschaft. Lage top beim Bärengraben. Blaue Zone nebenan (sonntags unbegrenzt) ansonsten P Casino in der Nähe. Altstadt zu Fuss erreichbar, selbst Bernexpo in 20 Min. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet, alles frisch und sauber, Bett sehr bequem, Gastgeber sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Es hat ein bisschen nach Küche gerochen im Zimmer am späteren Abend. Aber ich würde trotzdem jederzeit wieder dort übernachten!

We loved everything. The location was perfect, the view was amazing, and the atmosphere in the hotel was very warm and comfortable. As for the staff, they were exceptional — it felt as if you were visiting friends who were genuinely happy to see you.

Lovely stay near the historic old town!
Pros:

Beautiful location right near the river and the bear pit, right on the edge of the historic old town. Cozy old building with super friendly and helpful staff. Food was amazing, I highly recommend having lunch or dinner at their restaurant. Lots of small stairs to get up to the top floor, but it was well worth it!

A very nice hotel, located in the lower parts of Bern next to the river. Beautiful walking, city center in reach, The hotel is an old local house, very nice. Would always come back.

Calme, authentique, charmant !
ENFIN un véritable petit hôtel de charme où les anciens parquets n’ont pas été recouverts d’immondes lino ou moquettes, où les portes s’ouvrent avec des clés et où les fenêtres en bois n’ont pas été remplacées par du cheap en PVC. Calme absolu, chambres simples mais charmantes, personnel adorable, bon petit déj (avec options véganes).

Un peu cher.
