Cosy stay in the heart of Bern
Pros:

It is a very cozy place to stay for a night or two along the river Aare. My room overlooked the city, and it was just beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is very practical and well connected by bus, and a stone's throw from the bear park/enclosure. Lovely walks starting directly at the doorway.

Cons:

All good.

great location to see the bears
Pros:

We wanted a bed & breakfast. The hotel is quirky and the breakfast is delicious (though egg machine didn't quite work for us). Bed was comfortable. Room/ bathroom on the small side but that goes with the price.

Cons:

One of our rooms was overlooking the cobbled street which was a bit loud as we kept the window open because of the heat.

De ligging vlak bij de Nydeggbrug. De charmant oude uitstraling

Cons:

Het was erg heet: ik miste de airconditioning, want de wel aanwezige ventilator deed weinig. Verder was de kamer oké.
Wel iets minder van kwaliteit was het ontbijt. De basics (cereals, toast, brood, orange juice, yoghurt) waren er evenals jam. Verder waren er minieme stukjes kaas en rauwe eieren die je zelf moest koken

The room was nice and cool (which was a blessing in the middle of a heatwave). The shampoo smelled really good.

Cons:

The table for breakfast was already assigned so you can't choose where to sit. The door to the hallway has barely any soundproofing and you can hear people coming up and down the stairs. It wasn't a problem because guests were quiet and polite, but you're at the mercy of others. It's good that the room wasn't as hot because there was no AC or fan.

I guess everything! The people first of all all of the days, the building itself, the bistro, the breakfast, everything was really nice! Even with no fan the rover next offers a breeze so you can sleep well!
