Such friendly and helpful staff. This complex is beautiful and the owners made us very welcome. Breakfasts amazing and had dinner few times. Good choice that gets changed daily. We didn't want to leave and will definitely come back. Big hugs to Meera the very friendly chihuahua x

Die Lage des Hotels war ok - nicht weit von der Hauptstraße entfernt , Einkaufsmöglichkeiten daher vorhanden -sauberes Swimmingpool mit angenehmen Plätzen zum Liegen -Besitzer sehr nett und hilfsbereit, geeignet für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt, keine "partymeile" !

We loved Paje Blu so much so we extended our stay AND came back a second time! Its quiet location is a little away from the hustle and bustle of Paje but still super easy to access should you want to go into town.

The rooms are modern and comfortable with great AC which features back up when load shedding happens (NOT everywhere in Zanzibar offers this!)

The pool area is honestly the lovely, well designed and plenty of beds. The pool is also open for swimming 24 hours!

The bar is brilliant, great service and cocktails and the hotel staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. They can organise anything you need for a stay in Paje.

Everything for breakfast is cooked to order which is another big plus for us!

Pośrodku znajduje się przepiękny basen otoczony zielenią. Przy basenie jest dużo zawsze dostępnych leżaków. W obiekcie panuje cisza. Pokój z prywatną łazienką był duży. W pokoju miałyśmy sejf, zestaw do parzenia kawy i herbaty. Obsługa hotelu była bardzo uczynna i miała. Na terenie oprócz śniadania, które było w cenie można było zjeść w hotelowej restauracji dobre posiłki w przyzwoitych cenach. Dodatkową atrakcją jest przesympatyczny piesek Mira, która chętnie zawiera znajomości z turystami. Polecam ten hotel ze względu na czystość, przemiłą i troskliwą obsługę i warunki do totalnego zrelaksowania się.

Location is great, 2 mins walk from the beach, the pool is fantastic and the staff is very helpful and polite.

Everything was excellent, from the airport transfer to the very last minute at the hotel! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, everything always clean, the food is wonderful and the breakfast has a huge variety. The staff are wonderful, always ready to help, and those who manage the hotel also contribute to its excellent operation. A great place for a good rest in paradise! I can only thank the entire magnificent team, keep up the good work and thank you!

Absolutely stunning property just 2-3 minutes from direct access to the beach! Our room faced the pool and we had our own little verandah.

The room itself was very spacious with a little sitting room at the entrance and both fans and air conditioners to keep the room cool. The bathroom was also spacious with a beautifully scented body wash and shampoo and a good supply of hot water.

The standout highlight for this property is definitely the staff! They are an amazing group of people who are friendly and kind and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible so the property feels like a home away from home😍 The star employee at Paje Blu is definitely Pila who is a hit with all the guests and whom we absolutely adored😉

A special mention about Caroline and the management who made us feel so welcome and helped us to arrange tours and were kind enough to facilitate an early check in for us! They were also up before 5am to see us off and make sure we departed safely to the airport!

What we also enjoyed about the property was the sensible preparation of food to order rather than mass amounts of food at a buffet. The quality of the food and fresh fruit was excellent. We also appreciated that they catered to our needs for soy milk.

We thoroughly enjoyed the lively party the hotel hosted on New Years Eve with live entertainment and dancing followed by champagne on the beach at midnight which was so well co-ordinated. The spread of seafood for dinner was also absolutely delicious.

The pool is definitely something guests need to take time to enjoy! It is huge and well maintained with a jacuzzi function and is open 24 hours a day😊

Lastly, we found the location to be ideal as it was slightly off the beach which afforded a bit of privacy but was still easy to access the beach within 2-3 mins. The water was beautifully blue and clear and we were always able to swim when the tide was in with not too much of an issue with seaweed.

The hotel was excellent and very clean. The staff were always helpful and smiling, making us feel very welcome. The food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was consistently delicious, with a great variety every day.

Ein absolut fantastischer Aufenthalt im Paje Blu Hotel!

Wir waren eine Woche dort, sogar über Silvester, und es war einfach wunderschön. Das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich, man fühlt sich von Anfang an herzlich willkommen.

Die gesamte Anlage ist mega sauber und extrem gepflegt. Die Bungalows sind super – gemütlich, ruhig und perfekt zum Abschalten.

Das Restaurant ist ganz in Ordnung und rundet den Aufenthalt gut ab.

Besonders schön fanden wir auch die Nähe zum Strand (3min Fussweg) .
Ein echtes Highlight ist der Pool, den man auch nachts nutzen kann – einfach herrlich, dort abends noch entspannt zu sitzen.

Zu Silvester wurde sogar eine Party veranstaltet, die richtig schön war und eine tolle Stimmung hatte.

Ganz klare Empfehlung! Dieses Hotel hat sich echte 5 Sterne absolut verdient.

Wir waren im Dezember für fast drei Wochen im Paje Blue Boutique Hotel und waren einfach begeistert! Die ganze Anlage ist traumhaft schön und sehr familiär – mit nur vier großen Zimmern und acht Häuschen fühlt man sich hier sofort wie zu Hause. Alles ist super sauber, liebevoll gepflegt und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet.

Der Service war herausragend! Das gesamte Team ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und immer bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen – ganz ohne die langen Wartezeiten, die man aus großen Hotels kennt.

Auch das Essen war jeden Tag ein Highlight: Es gibt Mittag- und Abendessen, alles frisch gekocht und richtig lecker. Die Preise sind absolut fair – meist zwischen 14 und 20 US‑Dollar pro Gericht.

Wir haben außerdem alle Ausflüge direkt über das Hotel gebucht – das war unkompliziert und bestens organisiert. Auch der Taxiservice war top, eine Fahrt vom Flughafen kostete etwa 40 US‑Dollar.

Fazit: Ein echtes kleines Paradies auf Sansibar! Wir danken dem gesamten Team von Herzen für den wundervollen Aufenthalt und kommen ganz sicher wieder.

We really liked a few things about Paje Blu….the staff, very friendly and so welcoming and helpful, the food was varied and very good ( Breakfast Lunch and Dinner) the pool is fantastic great to have a dip and big enough to do lengths which I did in the mornings, recommend a night swim as well with the lights on, very cool, they play a good variety of music and it’s not too loud, the pool table was fun…. and we treated ourselves to a massage with the in house team.
Paje town is worth a visit and a walk along the beach ( check tide times) back to the Paje Blu is well worth it.
The Paje Blu also arranged for a bespoke snorkelling trip to see the starfish and the coral / tropical fish as well as all taxi transfers while we were there and to and from airport/ other locations as we came from Stone Town, which just made our stay so easy.

The place and stuff was good, clean and the food was great. We stayed at 3 different locations in Zanzibar but this one was our overall best.
