Fabulous location! Wonderful and very kind staff. My mother, who has mobility issues, was so well looked after.
Perfect place to relax and unwind! And those amazing bird songs are to die for!
Probably some may find it quite isolated from main town of Kandy.
Location is very good near the dam waters. The guests are welcomed in a traditional way which was nice. A butler is assigned on check in. A mobile is provided to connect quickly with the butler. This is a nice experience.
Located in a very nice place but no way to walk around and enjoy. Room Service was poor. No replenishment of water or coffee / tea unless asked for. No numbers provided to call for Service or contacting reception, from room. Not value for money.
It is well maintained, in a beautiful location, away from the noise of Kandy. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The food was very good. Enjoyed the pool. We would go back.
There is a section which had families/children in it, which bothered us, but they kindly moved us to the non-children section which was fine. Not an issue for us but it is 5-6km from Kandy which takes c.20 minutes by car so if you want to be in the city centre for some reason one to note.

Nice views. Hotel looks clean and new. Very friendly staff. The hotel is quite remote and small. So if you are ok with relaxing then it is a great hotel. The food was amazing both dinner and breakfast was really great.
Nothing much. Note that there isn’t a gym in the hotel but that was ok.

It was sublime in every way. The staff, the welcome, the luxurious feel, the delicious choice of meals, the beautiful pool - it was a sanctuary in a beautifully unspoilt and relaxing green setting.

Incredible service from beautiful staff, extremely comfortable room and bathroom, loved the pool and the food at the restaurant was exceptional.
Although the location was beautiful for its tranquility and peace and stunning views of the river, it was a little bit out of town and too far to walk into Kandy. We didn’t have our own transport, so unfortunately we missed out on all that Kandy offered. But if you want to get away from it all, you cannot beat this property. Amazing.
