Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt, mit schönen Blick auf den Fluss. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und haben einen Balkon.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es hat einen wunderbaren Pool, in dem man sich gut erfrischen kann. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und zum Frühstück ist Buffet. Sie haben sehr guten Kaffee bzw. Cappuccino.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig.

Point positif la piscine surtout pour les enfants.

Cons:

Points negatif, a notre arrivée il y avait 2 vers de terre dans la salle de bain et dans la chambre un peut moins de 10 araignées de type faucheuses. Ce qui aurait pu etre enlevé avec un bon nettoyage (nous l'avons fait).
Le petit déjeuner n est pas fou, fruits, pain, beurre, confiture, mini crepes, dalh et le café n est pas inclus. Nous avons diner sur place a notre arrivée, nous avons demandé la quantité pour le plat de nouilles, afin de partager car souvent il y en a beaucoup. On m a dit non car c est une petit quantité et on m a montré un bol classique, nous avons donc commandé en conséquence. Finalement il y en avait beaucoup trop...la quantité d environ 2 bol 1/2. je trouve ça vraiment dommage car nous n avons pas pu finir la moitié des plats. Je n aime pas le gaspillage.

Mooi hotel met zwembad en zicht op de rivier
Pros:

Het hotel heeft mooie kamers (wel opletten voor mensen die slecht te been zijn, er kunnen wel wat trappen zijn..) en heeft een mooie ligging aan de rivier. Als er water zou zijn (wij hadden een droge periode) zou het zicht op de rivier heel mooi zijn. Het zwembad was OK en ook het restaurant is wel gezellig.

Cons:

Wat moeilijker bereikbaar via een smal weggetje van de hoofdbaan naar beneden naar de rivier, maar wij hadden een private driver dus niet echt een probleem voor ons.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kandy Riverside Villa! It is a wonderful family-run place where you are welcomed not just as a guest, but almost like a member of the family.

The owners and staff are incredibly kind, warm and caring. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and looked after.

The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and very generous, with fresh local food. We even enjoyed bananas growing right there on the property — it really makes you feel connected to the place and nature.

The surroundings are simply incredible: lush, almost wild tropical jungle, with the villa located right by the river and beautiful views of the water. Our room was very comfortable, but our favourite part was the gorgeous terrace. Sitting there in the evening, listening to the sounds of the jungle and the river, was such a peaceful and special experience.

The hostess Thandanie is a wonderful, friendly and genuinely kind person, and the whole atmosphere of the villa feels warm and personal.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would absolutely love to come back again. If you are looking for beautiful nature, peace, authentic Sri Lankan hospitality and a place that feels like home, Kandy Riverside Villa is a wonderful choice.

Hele goede koffie en cocktails, de service en vriendelijkheid zijn uitmuntend. Voor de prijs is het een zeer goede deal. Rustpunt in Kandy.

Très jolie villa en bordure de rivière avec piscine et hôtes chaleureux
Pros:

Très belle maison d’hôtes à l’écart de l’agitation de Kandy centre, accessible en bus facilement puis un peu de marche ou en Tuktuk. La vue sur la rivière et la piscine sont agréables. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et chaleureux et proposent un très bon petit déjeuner et des repas. La chambre est confortable et propre.

The Seaview and sleeping to the sound of the sea is amazing. In a quiet part of town where the fisherman have their boats on the beach. Really friendly staff and nice breakfast. Good price.

Quiet, peaceful and clean and a lovely little pool there was hot water and the air-conditioning plenty of trees about. It’s a beautiful property.

Spacious room clean, with hot water and air condition, balcony overlooking the river and beautiful palm trees and trees and lots of greenery surrounding the property.
