Delightful and enjoyable.
Pros:

The staff were extremely kind, attentive and helpful. I have traveled extensively and have rarely stayed in a place with this level of personal service and kindness. Go here for the service - they even helped me change my travel plans after my original plans did not work out. They created what turned out to be an even better set of plans. They are thoroughly professional. If I return to Hualien I will stay here for sure.

Cons:

The beds were a bit too firm for my liking but the rest of the room was perfect.
