The food options were limited, but the hotel was clean and well-maintained, offering stunning views from the top floors. A great place to stay overall!
The room was in a proper condition
The check-in experience was very poor. At first our request of city facing room on higher floor during booking wasn’t accepted stating they were completely booked. We came to know from the bellboy that city facing rooms were kept reserved for foreign guests. That sounded really weird as being Indian we were also foreigners in here. After a brief argument with the front desk and wasting more than one hour we finally got lower floor city view room. It clearly proves they were initially lying to us. We felt discriminated. Invoice amount mismatched during check out. Whole staff lack in communication. We were unpleasantly denied for dinner in their restaurant stating they already had too many guests to serve. There was no breakfast throughout our stay in the hotel. It seems they have preference for guests, in which case they shouldn’t be taking bookings for others.
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms, providing a comfortable stay. The basic amenities were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance was decent for an average hotel.

Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was overshadowed by several issues. Despite booking two rooms through Booking.com and receiving confirmation, I was informed upon arrival that the hotel had a group booking and would relocate us to another property with only one room. Initially, they agreed to accommodate us for one night in the booked property. However, after over 90 minutes of intense discussions, involving multiple managers and much debate, they eventually allowed us to stay for two nights as originally planned. This situation left me with the impression that the staff prioritized Western tourists, which was disappointing.
Additionally, the breakfast was underwhelming. The selection was very limited, and hygiene was a major concern, with flies visible on the bread and fruits.
Overall, while the rooms themselves were satisfactory, the management's handling of bookings and the quality of the dining experience require significant improvement to ensure a positive stay for all guests.
The hotel and the room is really clean, room is very nice and have everything that is needed. There was a hot shower which is not very popular in Sri Lanka :) The location is good, close to centre yet I very peaceful area.

Guests leaving early in the morning should be informed not to make unnecessary noise that could disturb others who are resting.
Reception staff were warm and responsive. The rooms were new, clean and comfortable. Good variety of breakfast buffet items.
